I purchased this shampoo before. It's very good for itchy scalp,strengthen. And softness.It changed the texture of my hair and good for. Damage,thinning,brittle hair.I will definitely purchase again. I also use the leavin, hair conditioner as well.

I LOVE this shampoo. I found it when I had dreadlocks and was trying to find something better for my scalp and hair that would work with locs without the price of the "dreadlock shampoo" empires. It smells really good. It doesn't take much to use. Very long lasting and everyone in our family can use it. It has natural oils that leave hair soft, scalp moisturized and cooled from any itchiness or irritation and is overall better to avoid all the crap additives in shampoos and all. I personally would use a lil bit in a half gallon jug with water when i had locs in and use that to saturate and dilute it for washing. But when I had my locs out, I have fine type 2B hair and I don't find it is too oily or anything. Once you stop using garbage shampoos and begin using better products that actually care for your scalp and hair and use it for a bit you'll notice a huge difference. I highly recommend this product. The only reason I removed a star was because it came to us damaged, so that is more for Amazon than the actual product. The top of it was snapped off, and it wasn't even in the box, so they literally packaged it with it already broken and it leaked everywhere. I'd recommend getting the smaller container and not deal with the pump mechanic.

New review:Perhaps I had a bad batch last time, as this time the shampoo is awesome! The exact consistency and quality that made me a fan of it years ago. I'm hoping it continues this way. Basically this shampoo cleanses your scalp and hair, while nourishing it at the same time, and when you rinse it away, it leaves your hair and scalp clean, without drying it out. I have natural, fine, high porosity hair btw.Old review:This shampoo has small unmixed black stuff (I assume it's the Shea butter) that doesn't turn to liquid or lather, or do anything actually! It just gets all over the shower area (including the wall and my poor luufa, which was a pain in the butt to clean) when you try washing it off. I even noticed small amounts of the black stuff in my hair when I got out of the shower, which was really annoying (I probably still have some left in/on my hair!).Save your money and go with a different, more reliable brand like Giovanni or something else. Shea Moisture has incredibly low quality products and they keep reformulating the things that work and turning it into something that sucks!I used to be a fan :(

Wow, what a great product! The scent is absolutely beautiful, and my hair stayed soft, luscious, and hydrated for days after the very first wash. I also noticed a visible reduction in psoriasis along my hairline, which was a fantastic surprise.I recently tried another Shea Moisture product after a recommendation from my cousin (we have similar curly, afro-textured hair) and I loved it, so I felt quite confident trying this shampoo and conditioner combo... and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s definitely high quality and now a new staple in my routine.

I use it as a hair oil remover before my main shampoo and it is the best quality.

A really great hair product, has really grown and strengthen my hair and the results lasts for up to a week "if" ur lazy to shower. Also prevents much damage to hair when using flat iron or curlers etc and it smells goood.

The product itself is good, but unfortunately the bottle wasn’t sealed properly before delivery. A significant amount leaked out into the box, which was both wasteful and messy.
