Moroccan Black Soap - Lavender -16 oz value size

I have used dozens of different brands of black soap but this is by far my favorite. I love the lavender scent and you can tell its all natural. This soap is on the pricey size but it is HUGE. I've been using it for a couple months now daily and I have barely made a dent in the jar. It also says on the label that it comes from Morocco and I do believe it is authentic. I use it in conjunction with the exfoliating glove as well, once a week and have noticed significant improvement to my skin, specially with the discoloration and texture.

I got hooked on this soap last year in Morocco and have continued a tradition of weekly hammam style baths. I ran out of the soap I purchased in Morocco and ordered this. It's wonderful! I thought I ordered the eucalyptus but got the lavender (my mistake) and it was a happy accident! This soap smells amazing and, when combined with an abrasive glove, leaves my skin smooth, soft, and amazingly clean. I will probably order the eucalyptus when I run out of this and try both from this company. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the lavender. I plan to order this soap as holiday gifts for friends as well.

This Moroccan black soap will give you the softest most touchable skin. First wash your skin in the shower with this soap then use the exfoliating glove after you rinse your skin. You will see all the dead skin wash away. After the second use your skin looks so glowing. I recommend using a good moisturizer afterwards to keep your skin glowing and soft. I will definitely buy this Moroccan black soap again. It also has such a nice soft scent of lavender. Make sure you get the Moroccan exfoliating glove.

Messy..not worth it.

After reading mostly glowing reviews about how soft this make the skin, I decided to try it out. I live in the tropics where it's humid year-round, but getting older has my skin feeling a bit dryer than in my youth. This thing leaves my skin feeling dryer than anything I've ever used. I usually use the Olay body wash and that leaves my skin hydrated so paying five times the price for something that leaves my skin dry is very disappointing! Not only that, I don't like the pastiness of it. It has to be scooped out like tar and rubbed between my wash cloth to get it to a soap-like consistency. I still have 90% left in the jar and am very disappointed that I'll end up tossing it out. Ugh!
