Good Quality and Reliability
We buy a lot of these and have not had trouble with any of them. Works well in temperature extremes, no issues.

These work great and are built well
I bought these to plug into the ends of two USB 3.0 A to B cables on 2 separate laptops, to manually switch between the two for the built-in USB hub on my monitor instead of buying a KVM switch. They are very sturdy and should stand up to many iterations of plugging and unplugging. I switch these computers maybe once a day, so this was a more economical solution for me. I'd buy these again.

USB adapters have so many universal uses.
I love gadgets like USB adapters. I was of the day when PC manufacturers were not yet making USB adapters and I was splicing and soldering (and failing) connections for scanners/printers and other USB devices. These just work!

One Request....
EXCELLENT PRODUCT: One request would be that a clear marker should be put connector, indicating "TOP" of - as it can be confusing.

worked to extend my camera cables however it only allows USB2.0 speed instead of 3.0

Works great
Exactly what you’d expect. Used this adapter on an AV install. Had a conference room with a passive USB wall plate. Ran an active USB 3.0 cable between the wall plate and AV rack about 20’ away. Used this adapter at the rack side to convert the USB cable for use with a 2.0 device. Works great!
