Don't Waste Your Money!
I thought this was too short, repetitive, and didn't have enough original content that was not common sense. The author seems primarily motivated by saving money, not any of the other benefits of the lifestyle that she briefly mentions.Instead of talking about how the author has achieved certain minimalist goals, the book also had an odd impersonal tone on how "minimalists do this" or "a mimimalist would do that" and you should do that too. It made me wonder whether the author had actually tried any of her suggestions...For having "Zero Waste" in the title, it really didn't have much on that at all! I would definitely not waste your money on this and would instead direct you towards books on true Zero Waste, specifically Zero Waste Home by Bea Johnson, as I found that one much more informative and inspirational for a fully integrated, minimalist lifestyle. Also the fact that the author/publisher is packaging this book with a credit card offer is ridiculous! Minimalism is about paring down to the bare essentials and recognizing what's truly important in life: experiences and relationships, NOT stuff. Part of that is opting out of consumerist culture and not buying into advertising gimics or supposedly "Free" stuff. Just absolutely ridiculous. There are also plugs in the middle of the text asking for positive reviews on the book ....Deleted this as soon as I finished it.

This book had clear writing, was well organized and great principles but it was very very basic.
I was hoping it was going to devle into the zero waste aspect more, but it was treated as a side effect of minimalism instead. Which it is, but I thought it would go into it more. I would however recommend this book to someone just beginning their journey into minimalism.

A very interesting book which will benefit many of us
At the beginning of this book, Lucy asks:"Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with how chaotic your life has been lately?"This sets the tone for the book as we all have too many possessions and too much clutter. As she explains, minimalists buy what they need, rather than what they want, and focus less on material things. In the chapters that follow she outlines the benefits of minimalism as well as how to get rid of stuff. There is also a good section on the use of the Internet, where I suspect many of us waste a lot of time.Take advice given in this book and you should reap the benefits.

Minimalism is great!
At first glance I was a little skeptical of the minimalist lifestyle. I envisioned it as giving up things that Ireally enjoy having. After reading this book and understanding that minimalism is more of a mindset rather than simply disposing of possessions, I’m sold. This book contains commonsense suggestions for everyday life, I would recommend everyone read it. For instance, watching television. This book made me realize how wasteful I have been with TV. Normally, it is on more as background noise and I couldn’t tell you what program was on. By following Lucy’s advice I am now saving money on energy along with clearing my mind of unnecessary ‘clutter’.

No frills introduction
This book is a straightforward introduction to the basic ideals and practices of minimalism. It is not motivational in nature. If you are curious about steps to implement a minimalist lifestyle this may be exactly what you want. If you're looking for inspiration or a self-help style read, this one's not for you.

Lots to think about.
I enjoyed reading this book as it talks about minimalism in all aspects of life, not just about materialism. I recommend this book I to anyone in debt or for anyone wanting to travel and pretty much anyone curious about minimalism.

Good standard explanation
Basic explanation of minimalism/zero waste. Would have loved for it to be more personable to read and delve into creative zero waste ideas.

Not that many pages
This is a TINY book, it works better as like a coffee table book. I do love books about minimalism though so overall was good.

Rubbish - the title is misleading - do not buy
I bought this book essentially for the zero waste aspect, what a pile of rubbish, it is barely mentioned. This book has been written by someone who has little interest in minimalism, I dare say that they've probably only ever read a brief description on the topic before writing this extremely short book (20 minutes reading time max). More of a summary than a book and an excruciatingly bad one at that. Incorrect spellings and misplaced words just add to the sheer thoughtlessness of this tripe, very disappointed. :'(

It's a waste of money
It's totally useless. The title makes you believe it's a guide about zerowaste, but actually it's a summary of "cool" sentences about minimalism. I didn't learn anything at all. Besides it is very very short, with big letters and lot of empty spaces. I don't recommend it at all.

Short and complete
The book is short and easy to read, nonetheless gives the essentials to approach minimalism in a clear way, leaving room for experimentation
