This is a very stable desktop CNC machine at a great price. Assembly is fair, manual is hard to read ( small narrow font and low contrast photos). The manual stops suddenly after mechanical assembly; wiring and connector hook-up are a single sheet, marginally explained. A novice would have a difficult time. The assembly video has no audio, some captions flash by. I'm assuming that this is an early shipment of this product. It would be great if a modification for a trim router could be added. Still a fantastic product for a fantastic price.

Overall quality of the materials very good! However, within an hour the PC control board went out. They did send a new replacement which lasted 1 month. A new pc board was just received and is working fine. I am engraving aluminum plates that take as much as 8 hrs. to complete. you have to look up software on line to you machine.I did buy another PC board from another supplier to you if this new one fail again,Ed

Avoid this junk with a passion. Arrived broken. Had only half the instructions on assembly. used a YouTube video to put it together. I put some cardboard so the Z doesn't travel up as much with out it. Notice the crap wiring all over the place. The limit switch wiring has two wires going into block design for only one wire. I have a FoxAlien remote controller and it freezes randomly. I got my money back because they have no place to returned or fix this crap. I have another cnc.

Unable to square frame, X axis bows inward over 0.050" in middle, Y axis doesn't move @ 90 deg. to X, Z axis wobbles too much due to very short linear bearings. I have tried to solve these problems for months now with no luck. (I'm a licensed aircraft tech.)If you're looking for a toy, that's what you will get with this router.
