No they cannot be used for boots. You have to get one specific for boots.

Although I don't know the answer for women's sizes, I do know that they are very well built and work well for men's shoes up to a "W" width. Any wider than that and they just do not expand enough Hope this helps. If you have Amazon Prime you can return with no problem.

They come with 4 shoe stretchers for each unit for a total of 8. You can use all 8 on each unit if you have a wide and high foot. Good luck - very well made.
