I originally bought these because I needed a better snack option that wouldn’t completely wreck my blood sugar. As a type 2 diabetic, finding something that actually tastes satisfying and doesn’t send my numbers through the roof can be frustrating. The cashews themselves taste fresh and buttery, not stale or overly dry like some cheaper brands I’ve tried. I keep a container at my desk and another in the car because they actually fill me up between meals and help me avoid grabbing junk food. I also appreciate the consistency. With PLANTERS, I pretty much know what I’m getting every time — good quality nuts with very few broken pieces floating around at the bottom. That reliability matters when you’re paying a little more. My only complaint is the price. They are definitely more expensive than store brands, especially if you go through them quickly like I do. Perfectly salted, fresh, delicious....some of the best cashews on the market
Ya, Costco has cashews as well, but theirs are heavily salted. With these lightly salted cashews, I can taste the flavor of the cashews. Yes, of course some of the cashews are broken into pieces, but they are fragile nuts and they break...but overall...very delicious, worth the price...and I always have a few cans on hand. I don't mind paying premium for a quality product that consistantly delivers on quality, taste, and freshness.
