Very sloppy "workmanship." There are better Okapis.
The handle looked thin and with plenty of room for large hands. This thing arrived so rough I was shocked, and sent it back.Tang was proud of the handles (not good for your hands), part of tang was sharpened, rivets were sloppy, handle scales were of different thickness and length, tip was burned, and blade was bent. If this was $5 I would have laughed and worked on it. But for $22 I thought it was going to be nicer.I also got an Okapi 16" Slim with orange polypropylene handle, MUCH nicer,and would recommend that if you know you want a traditional thin bladed, longer machete, with a cool black finish (even better if you sand it off and patina it).
