Excellent Replacement for Rear Bike wheel hub Axle
WHEEL MASTER REAR HUB AXLE - I damaged the axle in my Campy Rear Road Hub. I replaced it with this Wheel Master Axle and it fit perfectly. The length is 175 mm which allows enough exposed axl threads on each side to accept a Washer and the supplied Axle nuts. Used wheel master Cones and appropriate Campy spacers on each side to center the hub. This is an inexpensive repair that is easy to install and works very well.Very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended.🚴♂️

NOT QUITE 3/8 INCH
It measures 9.41mm on one end and 9.44mm on the other end. The threaded part spans about 6 5/8 inches. Mine is straight. Feels very hard...

Cheap axle, wouldn't recomend if you need anything but the shaft and nuts
Seems like an okay solid axle, It was the only one that was the right size for my bike that was reasonably priced and would ship quickly. Though the cones belong in the trash. The cones are made from a fairly soft steel I doubt they would last very long, thankfully I didn't need them. As for the dust caps, I would opt for rubber ones that actually seal out water.I have a tendency to bend or break axles, I got this to replace one that I bent, that axle replaced one I snapped in half and so on. This axle will likely end up the same but it seems to be holding up so far.One thing to keep in mind when you're setting up an axle, is that they do need a fair amount of preload to keep it stiff and increase the amount of force that it takes to bend it. It should have a fair amount of resistance when spinning the wheel with no weight but roll freely when it does have weight. It's also a good idea to tighten it periodically, and fresh grease doesn't hurt either; I use automotive axle grease on mine.

Worked Great
Bought this to replace my old worn axle, luckily I'm good at fixing things and was able to keep the old axle intact so I could match this up right. So far my bike rides smoothly, no vibrations or hiccups. I will report back later if it wears down to fast, but as of now I'm happy with the purchase.

Bent easily
After several rides with a person weighing about 200 lbs., the axle bent. I was able to bend it back with a crescent wrench, which reveals it is made of very soft metal. Might be OK for street riding where the rider is under 130 lbs., but useless for a mountain bike. It is not an easy process to remove and replace the rear axle, so consider how strong it needs to be before purchase.

Great replacement axle for my Schwinn Bike
My Schwinn High Timber 27.5" had a bent rear wheel axle. Upon researching a lot, I found this to be perfect! It is 175mm long, 3/8 inch ~ 9.5mm wide, and 26 TPI(threads per inch). TPI matters or else the axle won't fit. It comes with a spacer, cone, cover, lock nut, and outer hex nut. GREAT REPLACEMENT!
