I am extremely happy with it
This is really high quality for what I paid. I am extremely happy with it.SIZE: I ordered a size larger than usual due to the fact I have an hour-glass shape, and it fits perfectly, though the top is just a bit low. Not a problem as I am wearing it to play Eleanor of Aquitaine, and Medeival styles required the covering of the head and décolletage with a head scarf. It is also a tad long. But I'm only 5'5" and it looks like I can easily hem it with some iron-on hem tape.QUALITY: It is great quality FABRIC for a costume. The velvet isn't see-through. It is good material that looks like it will last, and it has stretch to it, so it is very flattering. The DETAILING along the neckline is only stamped, not embroidery, but for $30, I'm not displeased. The CROWN is surprisingly thick and looks very realistic. Not cheap or thin or tinny looking. In fact, I think it is made of thick rubber, which gives it a hefty, very real look. I only wish the crown went all the way around, but it goes half-way then is kept in place with a good-sized black elastic. But I still prefer it to those aluminum/tin-like crowns that I've seen sell for $20! Sometimes these costumes are shown with accessories that aren't included. The BELT shown is a ribbon of gold and silver on black. It is really beautiful and of good quality. It is actual embroidered ribbon, not a stamped pattern, and it goes on with a velcro attachment in back. the velcro section is quite long, so it has a huge amount of adjustability, which is also nice. I will definitely look for California Costumes brand when Halloween rolls around and my kids are looking for costumes.AMAZON SELLER: I was super impressed as it arrived BEFORE the earliest estimated delivery date and I chose regular shipping speed. Thank you, Pure Costumes Marketplace (seller).NOTES: I ordered this because of a time constraint and its price. And am extraordinarily pleased with it. I expected to use it as a fill-in this year and to get one of those "proper" expensive gowns (for hundreds of dollars) for next year, as I will continue to do this gig every year for the forseable future. But it is such a good costume, I'll continue to use this one for years to come (and save a ton of money!).Because I like it so much, I will now just share this tidbit of information (which will not matter at all to most people who just want a pretty ancient-princess-type costume): Though listed as a Lady Guinevere costume (Arthurian legend is set in the 5th-6th c), this costume is not really Medeival. Necklines at that time were square, and there was no gathering or puffing of shoulders (as this costume has). The same remained true through the 12 c. during which time Eleanor of Aquitaine lived (though, her death occurred just prior to the Renaissance and a dramatic change in styles started to take place). Since I am playing Eleanor for an elementary school's history section of study on the mid-Ages, and as I'm a history buff, I'd like this costume to be more accurate to the time period, but because the material looks so sturdy, I think I can make these adjustments to the costume on my own.

Great quality and look!
I needed a costume for a Renaissance Fair and didn’t want to spend too much. I bought this with high hopes but fully expecting it to be cheap quality and not fit well. It is the most pleasantly surprised I’ve ever been. I’m 5”2 and 150lbs. The medium fit perfectly! I wore boots with a 2.5” heel and the dress just barely grazed the ground. I did need to lift it a bit here and there but it was not at all annoying. The weight was perfect for the weather- it was about 65 and breezy. If it had been cooler, I could have easily worn tights or even leggings. It was comfortable and looked amazing! Everyone kept asking me if I rented it. It’s not washable and the bottom is a bit dirty from walking around dirt and muddy paths, but I’m going to hang it in the shower and just hand wash the bottom. I highly recommend this costume- best costume I’ve ever purchased.

Good costume 👍
I just received the costume today and for the most part I really like the costume. It fits very well and the fabric is good quality. The crown is also of good quality, thick rubber. The only downside for me is that the sleeves seem to be a little short and I don’t have abnormally long arms. I’m 5’3 and weigh about 130-135 and the small fits me perfectly. It’s not too tight or too loose. Just wish the sleeves were a bit longer. Other than that it’s a great costume for that price.

Terrific impulse purchase!: Pricelessly-regal outfit for my granddaughter's princess party
I wasn't expecting much for $45. And it's rare I try on clothes and they fit me well. So I was thrilled that this "queen" costume for my little grand's princess tea that we're going to fit like a glove! It's super comfortable. Has plenty of stretch and flattering even for a 73yo body. After reading reviews, I ordered an XL size just to be on the safe side. Was thrilled that, at 5'8" it hung all the way to the floor on me. With my height THAT is rare. While the color in this photo shows a royal blue, the dress came true to the color in the advertising which is a true teal velveteen-type fabric with gold embellishments. It also came with a surprisingly cute crown made of heavy rubber (that looks like metal). It sits securely in the hair with the attached elastic band. The belt came with it too. The only thing I added was the necklace. Bring on the horse-drawn carriage!

Absolutely gorgeous!
I have to admit I was not expecting this to be so beautiful. It is extremely well made and high quality, looks like I spent a fortune on it! Great material, comfortable, fits perfect ( I'm 105 pounds and 5'3, the Small was the best size), the accessories are great too! I cannot recommend this enough, I am so happy with this purchase!!

Dress is cute but stitching is bad
For reference I am 5’3” and the dress hit the floor but not dragging for me. I have small chest but broad shoulders so the fit was okay for me on shoulders seam wise. You May want to wear a tank underneath if you are a little more conservative and don’t want to show too much skin or if you are like me there’s a slight gap because Chest doesn’t fill it all the way in but still flattering. The fit was a smiddgen too tight for my broad shoulders, still fits but I have to slowly and carefully put on and remove if it were to be placed from head first but I think sliding it up might have worked better.pros :- fits as chart stated- flattering fit even though I have mom belly it minimized it or didn’t make it more pronounced- color is very pretty- lightweightCons:- it seems to somewhat be sewn poorly or maybe I got a bad one but not sure I want to take the trouble to return it - there are areas popped or missing stitches which can pop and cause other stitching to come undone after probably a few wears or washes- if the price was $10 cheaper then I wouldn’t mind the cheap stitching as much- the jewels arrived unattached to the crown so you will need to get some sort of glue to reattach
