Lavanture SPD-6209 Bed Cabinet Gas Spring - 26.32 Inch, Black

I do not have a Winnebago, nor is this strut for a bed lift! I bought it to replace a gas strut in one of my basement hatches that had chosen to start whacking me in my head when I leaned into the basement area to retrieve something from there. This strut replaced the original exactly and it worked beautifully! That is the bottom line for something that you buy to replace a dysfunctional part and this one worked perfectly! Make sure of the length, open and closed, and the weight recommendations on the one that you have to replace and then don't worry about the application since you may well not be using it in the same manner as the supplier suggests that it is used for. Worked for me perfectly!

THESE GAS SPRINGS ARE USED TO ASSIST IN LIFTING THE BED IN MY WINNEBAGO TO ACCESS THE STORAAGE UNDER THE BED. THEY WORK WELL. I'M THINKING OF INSTALLING AN ADDITIONAL SET TO IMPROVE THINGS. I'M NOT SURE IF THEY ARE AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINALS ORIGINALLY WERE BUT THEY WORK. IF YOU FIND THAT THEY ARE NOT AS STRONG AS DESIRED YOU CAN ALWAYS BUY A SET OF BRACKETS AND A SECOND SET OF GAS SPRINGS.

Easy to install and more than enough strength to hold up a storage door on my class A Rexhall motor home . I need 3 more of these, it's a shame they are out!
