I think the designer needs to go back to the drawing board and create a design that utilizes the borders and not the center of the mat. The center of the mat is where the bowls go, and totally hide the center design. If they can't do it, I can!

This is a great mat that we are using for our dogs bowls. The other mats on amazon were for $20+ and this one was wayyy less and fits two large dog bowls!

Was pleasantly surprised by the material that it was made of, and how great the design looks.When I got it the box was soaked because of a storm, but when I pulled the product out, the water just rolled off it.

It is very cute but it is very small and it won’t lay flat. Since it won’t look flat, it just makes a bigger mess and the dogs make a puddle of water around the mat.

This is not at all absorbant, which is important to know if you are putting it under your dog's food and water dishes. Also, within a short period of time, the design started to wash off. I've tossed it just over a year since purchase. Back to a trusty towel that can be washed without being destroyed. Cute, but completely impractical.
