This is a treat of a book for our young grandson. The quality of paper and print, and the style of writing, balanced well with many illustrations, has made it an ideal book for a youngster who is becoming keen on the sport. Highly recommended!

This excellent book does an amazing job of breaking down the game into simple, easy-to-understand concepts that even a three year old can follow along with. My seven year old son loved it, and picked up a lot of new information from it. Highly recommend for any young football fan in your life!

I brought this for my boys. Who having found a passion for football recently I thought this may help them improve their understanding of playing the game. The book is great. It's more tlmy kids read it once and then it's not been touched since. Although my youngest is picking it up again recently. Having read the content it has some very good starting tips. Purchased this book for my 8yr old to assist with the techniques involved. It explained as clearly as you can in writing form how to perform the basics. The pictures are clear and the text explains as clearly as it can-you get to a certain point were a technique cannot be explained any better in word format. Always impressed with DK books.
