GoodthreadsMen's Slim-Fit 5-Pocket Comfort Stretch Corduroy Pant

I don't write many reviews relative to the number of purchases I make, so when I do write a review it is heartfelt and sincere. :-) At 6'5" and 165 pounds I am a slim 32 x 36, and need all of the inseem length that I can get. I have bought many Levi's 511 corduroys but found the manufacturing quality to be wildly inconsistent. Every now and then the length stayed long enough and the waist didn't tighten up too much after the first wash, but my results were sporadic. These Goodthreads corduroys are superior to Levi's in every way. The length and waist still fit perfectly after the first wash and the material is much softer and supple than Levi's. The material also seems to be of a higher quality. The build is unquestionably higher quality. Big plus - these don't have the huge, stupid brand patch on the waist. I have reluctantly become convinced that the Amazon Goodthreads and Button Down labels are becoming my brand of choice for shirts and pants. They make a tall, slim fit product that fits me better than any other brand that I have tried.

These pants fit very similar to the old Levis 519 cords from the 70s and 80s, except the leg opening is a little smaller. (they taper down to a 7 inch bottom which might be a little tight for someone with large calves) The rise is close to 11 inches which is high by todays standards - they definitely don't " sit below the waist" the way most mens pants are made today, so definitely not low rise hipster pants. They sit about 2 inches from my belly button so they are not too high waisted either like dad jeans The waist measures 15 inches across the front on my size 29 making them a true size 30 ( 15 across the waist doubled) The light khaki is not as light as the picture I would call it it just khaki where as what they call the khaki color looks more like a brown. I wish they would make a lighter color in this style like the stone color they have in the 5 pocket chinos. These are pretty light weight for cords which is what I was looking for , very soft and comfortable.

I normally take 28 inch inseam. Of seven Goodthreads and Buttoned Down pants that I ordered (or two my wife ordered for me) August 2019-Dec 2020 as 28, none is correct per its label (One more I ordered this week as 29: Goodthreads got that right--may this favorable new trend continue).The seven pants I ordered as 28s measured as : two Goodthreads were 26, two Goodthreads were 26.5, and three Buttoned Down were 27. The label of each pair of pants read 28.As I did lots of weight training on the legs in 2020, I had THOUGHT my new tightness in pants was also responsible for the pants riding up on me: Nope, when I actually use the tape measure I find every Amazon pair I bought in 2020 was cut wrong.I don't like that Amazon shorted me with high ankles: These casual pants were my winter home-office wear and my office gets stone-cold !Not into bare ankles? Fit's important. Do apply the tape measure, if the pants legs seem to float higher than expected--check !I would not like to bother some poor Amazon staffer--especially if they were among that Amazon ground-troop brigade that kept so many of us going in many ways thru darkest 2020. But what I would smile on is for Mr. Bezos to fly his personal jet into my local airport, walk (diligently masked in N-95) up my driveway hand-carrying a box full of replacements for the correct color of each of my seven mis-labeled shorted chinos, and say: "Sorry Christian! The Internet knows you get vocal when a company short-changes you--and you are right to do so. When I felt my ass burning I knew my company must have shorted you and I quickly righted it. Won't happen again !"

Love that we can buy corduroy on a budget, but you get what you pay for. It's not as robust as corduroy should be; the fabric is light, wrinkles easily, and--because of the underlying fabric or the wales themselves--any fold or bend from sitting/moving is hyper visible. For comparison, I have corduroy pants from another brand that sold at $60 and was sold through their denim section (for the underlying fabric), and those are sturdy and don't deform when wore.

I was really excited the first time I tried these pants on. They fit great and the corduroy fabric is super soft and comfortable. They arrived on a Monday, I wore them on Tuesday, and when I went to wear them on Wednesday, I noticed that the stitching in the crotch area had busted wide open. Will be returning these and won’t be purchasing any more GoodThreads clothing in the future.

Although it took me trying on 3 pairs of these pants to figure out my correct length, once I got that out the way I immediately ordered 2 more in other colors. The addition of just a touch of elastic to the supple cotton, makes these among the most comfortable pants I've ever owned. The fact that they come in so MANY sizes and lengths, and so many colors is an added bonus. Shopping for pants has never been easier or more convenient that with Amazon Wardrobe.

I wanted straight corduroy jeans without any frills. Lots of women's pants have cuts that are not comfortable or a flare or something weird and too many names of styles to keep track of. I bought these in a size as close to what would fit me. They are comfy, wash and dry well, are well made, and just what I wanted. No frills, but they still look clean, classic and go with everything.

They were unusual in that they were exactly what I anticipated getting: the correct color, the correct length, the correct waist, the correct fit. Hopefully, they will live long in my current clothes rotation, and the gods of laundry will be kind and embrace them as they continue to watch lover them. ...to be continued (if necessary).

I have been wanting a pair of light coloured (light khaki) cords for a while and stumbled across these at £14.50 from Amazon! At that price I thought I would give them a try not expecting much . However, they are really good, even if rather lighter in weight than I am used to, but that is an obvious advantage for warmer weather. I am usually 32 waist in jeans and 34 in trousers. I went 33 in these cords and they are a good fit. Perhaps a 32 might have been better for me allowing for the stretch that is in the fabric but there again they may have been a little tight, so I am keeping these. In terms of leg length they are very true to size. They are a fairly slim fit but by no means tight. Excellent purchase!

Very thin material and the sewing from the bottom of the zipper to the crotch is single stitched, the reason I would think why some other reviewers have seen their trousers split apart. I even went and checked all my trousers to see if I had any similar, none, all mine are double stitched for strength. Made in Bangladesh, quality control with some companies who make their goods there seems to be non existent. Just another company making crap, that they hope you will buy and when it falls apart they hope u will just bin it and not send it back for a refund. Goodthreads should be prosecuted under the trades descriptions act for even using that name. So if you want a rubbish pair of cord pants that will fall apart, buy these. I returned the ones I ordered before they fall apart.

The fit and cut of the cords are wonderful. But, the colour in the images for Khaki are misleading. I received dark brown - label says khaki. The honey colour isn’t as it seems. Just an FYI!

These cords are great I'm well pleased they fit as advertised and having short legs and large waist for my height its good to find pants that fit so well , quality is great for the price I've ordered a couple of pairs of chinos so I hope they are as good , I'll let you know well done Goodthreads for have so many size options 👏

These cords arrived on time, well packaged though inevitably a bit creased. They are comfortable, well fitting and come in a wide variety of colours and sizes. I immediately ordered a second pair as I consider them very good value.
