Great purchase
Purchased from Amazon, much less expensive that getting from our vendor which is the exact same.

Look at the picture in the ad that I thought I was buying. Not the same. Deceptive advertising.
This is how it was delivered. Very little supportive packing. The item arrived in pieces, broken handle lever, face plate off of autoclave.

Very small, need to drain water after every application unless using it constantly
We use this in a biology lab at our college; it replaced a slightly larger, older model that stood the test of time. This unit is not something I'd recommend for an application such as ours. Unless you use the autoclave constantly, you'll have to drain the entire water system every time to keep various growths from clogging up the system. This happened the first two times we used it and we ended up taking everything apart dealing with the water system of the unit, cleaning it out and purging it. You would have to use (guessing) it daily in order to not have to change the water out due to excessive growth that finds its way into the water chamber. The other thing is the small size. This might be ideal for a vet or small dental office but for our biology lab, we have petri dishes, instruments, glass ware as well as a lot of other things we routinely sterilize and it takes numerous loads to get it all done. It probably only does about a dozen petri dishes at a time. Again, if you're a small operation, might work well. If you have lots to do, look for something larger. That said, it seems to work well. So, use an autoclave often but for small loads, should be great. Plan on using it a time or two per week (or less) or have large loads, look elsewhere.
