Meant for ponies
Customer service was excellent and the product was well put together it was just to small for my 15 hand Quarter Horse

Price matches quality
It services it purpose and the quality matches the price point, definitely pony size. I’m using it on a 13.2 thick neck pony on the 2nd ring. I would have preferred a leather setup, but couldn’t find any for a pony. The reins are thick for child size hand.

Don't buy unless you are planning to use it on a pony. Won't fit an average sized horse.
Well I guess it's my own damn fault for not reading the reviews in the first place. Had I read the reviews, I would not have bought this. They need to specify that this martingale is NOT horse sized!! Unless you have a horse with a very short neck. This MAY be cob size but honestly I think it would fit a pony the best. Granted I have thoroughbreds with long necks but I could barely get it attached to the loosest ring. I thought about returning it but I think I'll try to make an extender to attach to my girth and then attach the martingale to the extender. If I can do that I'll make it work until I can buy a proper horse sized martingale and sell this to someone with a pony (or a horse with an unusually short neck. Seriously, the martingale attachment that goes on the girth needs to be at LEAST an extra 5 inches longer. (Even more than that really). Or better yet, the two parts that loop through the bit to hook on the reins could actually be a lot longer too. Come to think about it that would probably work better. And there's nothing I can do to extend those. You can see in my photo that they aren't even as long as my forearm. Don't waste your money folks if you plan on using it on an average sized horse. Other than that it's a decent equipment. The other thing I don't like though is how the reins attach to the bit. It doesn't feel very secure and I was afraid the reins would slip off the bit. Luckily they didn't...yet.

You pretty much get what you pay for on this one
You pretty much get what you pay for on this one . If you have a horse of any decent size, The neck loop probably won't fit. I just modified it on my own. It's usable n it will probably last for a long time. Like I said with a few "adjustments", it works.

but the first hook on the reins is still super tight which leads to the snaps of the martingale ...
This is a decent German for the money. I have had it for less than a year and the buckles are getting rusty.Runs small, I have a narrow TB and the neck strap on the martingale is way to small, and so is the martingale itself, works alright, but the first hook on the reins is still super tight which leads to the snaps of the martingale attaching themselves to the bit... kind of dangerous.

its functional but runs small
no complaints how its made, however def not Horse size. I have a 16.1 Appendix and even on its lowest setting doesn't sit right on his neck and brings his face in way behind the vertical. maybe would work better on a smaller horse/large pony.

Crap
Crappy, metal is so poor quality it broke after 4th use . Only used by children on school pony so no hard use , just really a waste
