ReelSonar multi-tool pliers and hook removers are built tough with the avid angler in mind. Each set of pliers is made with high grade corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The jaws are 4 inch inches in length and are designed to fit in small areas and deep into the mouth of the fish to help with catch and release. They feature a built-in crimping function and line cutter and inside the non-slip grips are two foldable tools; a serrated knife blade and a two-sided file blade for sharpening dull hooks. Really thin and long “jaws so you reach far to take a hook out of the fish.
Love the size, can really go deep for a hook if needed. The knife and file blades in the handles are a nice touch.

Almost perfect
First off, the material used in the pliers is quality metal. The line cutters are incredible, they cut through anything including braid no problem. Due to its scissor like design. The two built in tools are also really handy. However, when a good amount of pressure is placed on the pliers when removing a hook; they tend to bend sideways. Making the pliers useless at times. I would give this more of a 3.5 if I could because of this very serious design flaw. Pictures attached to show what I'm talking about.

I like that it cuts braided line and has a file ...
I like that it cuts braided line and has a file to sharpen hooks but the nose of the pliers can bend sideways which doesn't give you the leverage you need to pull out a hook. This is very aggravating. I am considering returning it because of the issue.Edit:I am adjusting from 1 star to 3 star because of the company's quick response. I still have the pliers but I will be looking for an alternative since they can't handle any side torsion which is what you need to have when removing a hook.
