Wonderful Product!
This is such a great product! It is delicious, super nutritious, and supports aquaculture that actually benefits the planet. Also, I refuse to buy seaweed from other countries where pollution may not be properly monitored in food products, so I am glad to have found this US grown product. I add it to soups, tomato sauces and even put some to my homemade veggie no-meat balls for a boost to their flavor and nutrition.

Salty
I thought this would be a mild seaweed but it’s salty and strong.I prefer wakame, dulse, and arame. It’s supposed to have lots of calcium though, so that’s good.

Delicious!
I am very pleased with this sea lettuce! It’s unsalted, and so delicious. I used some of it in a keto chicken soup I made and it was a wonderful addition. I’ve also eat a bit on its own, and it is quite good - crunchy and tasty, although if you have never eaten sea lettuce without added salt it may be a bit plain for your taste. I am accustomed to adding sea vegetables into my diet in one way or another because I have had thyroid problems for about 20 years and seaweed is a great source of iodine, which depending on your thyroid disorder, can be helpful (be sure to consult your doctor first though if you plan on eating sea vegetables in an attempt to aid your thyroid). This sea lettuce is harvested from waters off the coast of Maine, which is the first time I am seeing anything like that! So cool to get sea vegetables harvested in the USA! It’s filled with nutrients, basically no carb, and tastes great. Definitely recommend.

So good
It is nicely dried, having a natural green color, with great cleanness and freshness. It is one of my favorite sea vegetables. Its texture and taste are excellent. When cooking for soups or stews, It absorbs water and gets soft quickly, and at the same time, it releases its own flavor to the foods to be cooked, making foods yummier. It is so good and delicious for any meals with it added. Highly recommend it.

Similar to a more thick Wakame- Miso Soup/with Sesame Seeds/Addition to Stock
The media could not be loaded. The video doesn't work so great, but it was to show how it expands. Photo 2 is how I made some with miso, sesame seeds, and a little bit of soy sauce. If I had some, I would have added green onions and tofu.Third photo may be the best way to show it once it is reconstituted, as it rests atop some stock I was making after consuming some drumsticks. It turned out great.Overall, I prefer what I usually get as dried wakame, which takes up less space. The write-ups about how we contribute to the environment by eating this, because when we don't, it's in the ocean absorbing toxins...is a bit confounding.4 stars.
