Another one-of-a-kind book from Gnaana! Following the success of our Hindi Alphabet Book A is for Anaar , we follow this year with a unique Gujarati Alphabet Book. Meet Kavi: True to his name, he is a poet extraordinaire who loves to write in verse - especially in his native Gujarati. Kavi puts his quill to his parchment and takes kids on a journey of learning with the Gujarati alphabet! Introducing our newest concept book: Ka Kaachbaano Ka: A Poetical Introduction to the Gujarati Alphabet . Written by Avni Gandhi, a California-based elementary school teacher, the book features fun and catchy rhymes with transliterated Gujarati text. Learning Gujarati has never been more fun! Richly illustrated by Ajanta Guhathakurta, your kids will surely want to write some poetry of their own! Includes alphabet chart, pronunciation guide, Glossary of words and phrases, as well as a full page of tips and prompts for beginning Gujarati conversation A must-have for the multi-lingual library! Review: Awesome book for kids and adults - Got this for my 17 month old though I like it more than her at this time. She takes a while to warm up to new books and has her favorites. Plus might be a little too young. Currently prefers My first words bilingual board book from brightbandarco for Gujarati. Anyways good book with combination of Gujarati and English. Though first couple times reading it I kept getting distracted with the pronunciation spelled in English underneath the Gujarati word. Kinda like watching movie with subtitles when you understand the language. But Iโm sure pretty helpful in general to have that. Also the glossary at the end is very practical for conversational Gujarati. Only two things that could be better but are not a deal breaker: Font on front cover saying ka kachbaano ka is a little hard to make out due to color scheme Unlike a board book the pages are regular so need to be careful around young children Good recommendation for immigrants trying to teach their kids or other relatives Gujarati. Or anyone curious to learn some Gujarati. Review: Lovely!! - Such a cool and fun bookโfor kids and for adults learning Gujarati! My family loves it! Really interesting info, playful poems, and lovely illustrations!

Gujarati Learning
Not so great book for learning Gujarati. Missing transliteration on each for the non-gujarati speaking people. Priced too high,

Very engaging book to introduce children to Gujarati.
The book is well written, with the english/gujarati verses keeping my 5 year old son engaged, instead of a completely Gujarati only book. The pictures are very colorful and engaging as well.

This is a great book for beginners
This is a great book for beginners! I love the combination of English and Gujarati - makes it easy for those who can't read Gujarati but want to learn. And the creativity in the writing and illustrations is awesome. Can't wait to share this book with my nephew :)
