MX-8K

It's a magnetic stirrer. I use it to mix my powdered eggs...wish it was more powerful but it was inexpensive and works well...I put my BEAKER on it. I like saying the word BEAKER...it reminds me of a certain character on a certain children's show that used to air on PBS.

I use this stirrer mainly in the kitchen, to mix liquid ingredients and some powdered things together. I've been using it for several months now and have had no problems with it & it has worked great. I ordered some extra magnetic stirring rods for it, and they do give it more versatility. It's also great to mix a single glass of chocolate milk or instant tea, lol.

I will start by saying this is the first stirring table I have used so maybe this is a good feature. First you have to set the timer and spin rate. Easy enough but the encoder doesn’t have a fast jog so you have to go from 0 to 1000 one jog at a time. Second I guess you would have the speed you want to mix at written down but I needed to adjust a few times to get enough swirling and that required push the encoder, jog to new setting push again. Then it will adjust speed. Since I was going by a visual I would have liked it to adjust speed as I turned the dial.

This is a great product for the money. It works great in my middle school science classroom. My students were clearly able to see it pull the iron out of the cereal. I will be buying several more next school year.

I ordered this stirrer ..and clearly in the picture and description states it has a US plug I even got with the Amazon customer support stating my order came with a euro plug the first time and I needed the US style .they confirmed and sent me another stirrer with an euro plug .. a week wasted on simple things like proper matching products to what is shipped

At first, my mixer worked fine. I did like the readout and other functions, but found that over time, the speed funtion was itermittent. Sent back, as I must have gotten one that was bad. Other than that, for the price and readout, it is a great little mixer

I used this maybe half a dozen times in the past three years with no issue. I turned it on yesterday to mix some yeast nutrients and it worked fine. I turned it on again today to do the same and the dial stopped working, so I can't adjust the speed. It's stick on 2 minutes at 250. Fortunately, when I took it apart to debug, I noticed you can disconnect the speed control and it still works.

With a set of magnetic stirring sticks, this is incredibly useful in the kitchen You can stir coffee without disturbing the scum on top. You can stir gravy and other things (like vitamin C tabs, or Bovril, or Horlicks) that take ages to mix without having to stand over it. Set the controls to a high speed and you get an excellent vortex to make structured water ..! If it broke I would get a new one tomorrow.

Der Digital Magnetrührer dreht rechts herum. ( Das kann für einige wichtig sein. ) Die Einstellung der Drehgeschwindigkeit ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, funktioniert dann aber gut. Zur Einstellung gibt es einen einzigen Drehknopf. Beim ersten kurzen Drücken kann die Minutenzahl eingestellt werden. Hier wählt man entweder eine Minutenzahl, danach stellt das Gerät die Drehung selbst ab. Oder man stellt die Minutenzahl auf 00, dann dreht es, bis der Anwender es beendet. Beim zweiten kurzen Drücken, kann die Drehzahl eingestellt werden. Zaghaftes drehen bringt nur wenige Umdrehungen mehr. Wenn man mit Geschwindigkeit daran dreht, geht die Anzeige recht schnell einige hundert Umdrehungen nach oben bis maximal auf 2.000. Leider vergißt das Gerät die letzte Einstellung, wenn man es vom Strom trennt. Ich habe ein großes Gefäß mit 3,5 Liter Inhalt behandelt und es entstand ein Strudel bei 2.000 Umdrehungen, der bis zum Boden ging und Luft mit in die Flüssigkeit hinein brachte. Also richtig gut ! Ein kleines Magnetrührstäbchen ist im Lieferumfang enthalten, daß völlig ausreichend ist. Ich hatte ein weiteres größeres Stäbchen gekauft, daß mit dem Gerät aber nicht funktionierte. Das brauchte es aber auch nicht, weil das mitgelieferte Stäbchen vollständig zu meiner Zufriedenheit arbeitete. Gern jederzeit wieder.
