Higher quality than SLP Blackwing! Great Product
Ordered this intake for my 2009 C6 LS3 corvette base. I originally ordered an SLP Blackwing intake which arrived with holes by the maf sensor and was overall pretty low quality. The K&N arrived and the filter housing was carbon which was a nice surprise! It was super light and everything seems quality. Definitely worth the extra $50-$100 over the SLP Blackwing. Would recommend to anyone who needs a less restrictive intake due to a cam and headers install!

Just fits
Cheap build, but gets the job done. Tight and you will Need to have the couplers just right to get it in. Put the MAF on first.

Did not fit!
This DID NOT FIT! Do yourself a favor and purchase expensive auto parts from reputable brick & mortar auto parts stores. Go back to what we did before Amazon! Save yourself!

Performance boost
The K&N 63 series AirCharger for the 2012 Corvette Grand Sport was a perfect match for the OEM unit it replaced. There was definitely an improvement in acceleration and in engine sound. Low speed throttle response may have a fraction of a second delay but is definitely an improvement. Gas mileage also went up about 1.5 mpg. It shipped on time and arrived in perfect condition.

K&N Cold Air Intake - Great Product
The K&N cold air intake did everything it promised at a great price. The increase in HP has been amazing and I would highly recommend it.

Not the best construction, mildly increases sound and power
Instructions were fairly easy to follow, but the kit I received did not have the hole drilled for the breather tube grommet on the right side. Fortunately I had a drill with a large enough bit to do it myself. The fit wasn't perfect either, it felt like I was going to break something when forcing the entire assembly into the engine bay to attach the hose clamps. Once installed I did notice a little bit more noise and just a hint of faster acceleration under high throttle. Would be nice if the box it came in featured the product that's inside instead of being a generic box with a picture of an intake for a different car. Overall, pretty poor build quality and fitment with results that will not blow you away. I expected more from a $500 piece of plastic.

Breathe
Do definitely like the additional sound at idle and can feel the increase in power. The small lip to connect the the silicon hose from the throttle body to the intake tube was frustrating. Overall pleased with the end results.

Does not fit ls3 c6 without cutting
Does not fit unless you cut it. Garbage for the money. Spend the extra money and go else where.
