The heat is real and the chills are gone, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
I decided to replace my old space heater as it just wasn't doing the job in my rather poorly insulated home office spot, that also has a sleeping area. This is my initial review after trying it a day, and sleeping there overnight. Pros: Heating: Very impressive space heating. Within first using it I removed "chill zones" and cold nooks and corners, as well as old floor problems like my feet getting frozen. I didn't even have hope I could get rid of some of that draft, but the blowing method this heater uses... actually works. That's amazing, honestly, and it's a great value if you need a cold / unheated room get some decent heat distribution. I'm replacing a 10 year old popular brand heater that wasn't doing anything much for me in the same room. The old heater failed to remove chills from the room, and I was wearing 3 pairs of socks at one point. Now I'm removing layers and relaxing. This to me is the biggest win of this heater, as I was worried about heating this area this winter, now I have hope. Low noise: It's much, much quieter than most heaters... though on eco mode at night in cold weather it can change power levels often which is pretty noticeable and kind of defeats the whisper quiet stuff. (Which is fine, I'll take heat at the end of the day.) So I'd say more like it's quieter in the day time than most other heaters. Honestly it's not something I cared about, but if you are I figure you would count it as a pro. Cons: Warm plug: the plug can get slightly warm when using, including along the whole length of the cord. This immediately tells me this unit could be a risky one in some hands, if they go crazy with the settings. I would not lend this to older seniors or other people known to not give things enough attention. No temperature reading: The heater never shows it's own temperature reading at all, only what it is set to. This kind of surprised me, because letting us read the temp is one way to troubleshoot our home's insulation, or how the unit is working. There's a workaround to this: manually lower the eco mode temp until you reach the level where it's not blowing hard, and then you can assume that's around the temp reading of the unit. It's really surprising the heater won't just show you its temperature though, that feels like a basic feature that's missing. Unusual handle design. As some have pointed out there's no grip on the handle and it's a vertical slope. It's not hard to carry by any means, but the ability to do something by accident like drop it increases with this handle design. Stability - the base has no weight so anyone could tip this over if they trip on the cord or bump into it. Not a big deal if the space you're using it in is controlled, but possibly a big deal if you have pets/kids/elders in the space. Untested: Extreme cold weather - Unfortunately only milder weather is hitting me with a mild winter night (mid 30s) right now. I'd say in this weather it's more than adequate even in some degree of poor insulation situations. However, there's a big test to come in the 20s, teens, and zero outside... and so I'll come back to the review when I test more. Overall: I'm giving it 4 stars now, and an additional star later if it works well in the extreme cold. Yes, even with all the cons mentioned the big thing going for this is the heating output and distance is unreal. It's a no-brainer if you have the right situation for it, because why wouldn't you want to be warm. The price is fine as well. You'll see cheaper heaters out there, but those are best if the space you're in is extremely insulated, small, and easy to heat. I don't think you can do much better than this for the volume of room it somehow reaches in problematic areas. Update: I've tried it in colder weather. Still works. Therefore I'll give it 5 stars.

Great heater- Safe and fast quiet heating
I am originally from the East Coast and I know how essential a space heater is for your home. Believe me, even when there was 2 feet of snow outside, I had the comfort of knowing that I had a space heater that would help me survive the winter. I knew no matter how cold and brutal the day was outside in the cold, I could come back to a warm and cozy room thanks to my space heater. When I decided to move, it was odd to not bring one of my essentials, a space heater, but I had thought I wouldn’t need it on the sunny West Coast. Now that I have moved across the country to the West Coast, I learned that I still need a space heater. The cold, dry nights were still unbearable and so I wanted a space heater that would be smaller, but still effective. I needed it to have more temperature controls than just low heat, medium heat, and high heat so that I could specifically adjust it to the weather since the West Coast does not have as extreme of cold weather. That is when I found this Dreo Space Heater. This space heater is everything I want and more! One of my favorite aspects of this Dreo portable heater is its ability to quickly heat up a room. Before I bought this heater, I would often decide between leaving the heater on while I ran errands so that I could come back to a warm room, and being safe and turning the heater off before leaving. With this rapid heating space heater, I do not have to worry about making the wrong, but more comfortable decision. This space heater heats up an entire room in seriously like 2 minutes. It is perfect. Where I live, it tends to rain a lot in the fall, and when it is cold and rainy, it is hard to want to leave my warm room to go to work, run errands, or even get my mail from the mailbox. But with this space heater, I know as soon as I come back, I can quickly get my room to the temperature I want it to be at. As an owner of a small poodle and a cute tabby cat, safety features are extremely important to me when it comes to space heater. Any electric appliance can be dangerous when left plugged in for too long since they can become a fire hazard, and this is especially true for space heaters since they literally produce… well heat. That is why when I looked for a space heater, I had to make sure it had protective features to ensure they would not be dangerous. Especially if I had my young niece and nephew over during the winter. The Dreo Space Heater is ETL listed and has a dumping power-off protection and overheating power-off protection. The dumping power-off protection is protection against the heater being unplugged, which would cause a load dump and break the electric heater. The overheating power-off protection means that if there even is a slight chance of the machine overheating it shuts itself off. This is good so that even if I do accidentally leave the heater on and leave the house, I do not have to worry about my house burning down and causing possible deaths and severe damages. The Dreo Space Heater is also great for saving on your electricity bill. It is no secret that when you start to use a fan or a space heater, your electric bill will increase since there are more appliances being used for a long period of time. But with this space heater, there are three simple modes that you can use. The first is HI, which blows the heat out at a greater strength. The second option is LOW, which blows heat out with less intensity, this is option is pretty good for saving electricity. The best, and my personal favorite option is the ECO function. The ECO function constantly adjusts the amount of electricity it takes up to match the change of room temperature. The Dreo space heater measures the temperature of the room and keeps the temperature constant to whatever temperature you decide you want your room at, and it saves electricity by not keeping the heater on at full blast. I am an extremely deep sleeper, but of course what is a deep sleeping girlfriend without her light sleeping boyfriend. My boyfriend wakes up even to the soft sound of the birds chirping in the morning, so we make it a point to look for the most quiet fan and space heater that we can find. This Dreo Space Heater is very quiet. It has a very low, soothing hum that is not disruptive or bothersome to sleep next to. The space heater also spreads out the heat very well and it does not feel like there is a hot stream of air jetting at me while I sleep. I also love the easy to use aspect of this space heater. The heater can be controlled with a small, hand held remote that I keep next to my bedside table. The remote can control all of the same functions that can be accessed from the touch screen on the Dreo Space Heater.

Excellent heater for my well insulated home. I purchased this to help with eeking out my oil for my CH/HW during this time of uncertainty and high prices. The heater is super efficient at keeping my large through lounge at a comfortable temperature using the ECO thermostatic setting and setting the desired room temperature on the heater. Its easy to set either on the heater or using the remote control. There is a timer function so that if you need a top up with heat it can be set for the desired length of time. Its far superior to any fan or convector heaters of the past. Its silent in operation. On the ECO setting it has been a minimal amount on consumption of electric when I checked my smart meter app. There is a 2 year warranty and a full set of operation instructions. it also has all the safety features too. The unit is well made and has a small foot print.

Dreo Tower Heater Well I’ve been through the gamut of brand names. Bought everywhere from Costco to Walmart. Most of these ceramic 1500 watt heaters are the same. The biggest difference I found is how well the fans work which in the end equates to how well they put heat in their space. This time I went to my trusty YouTube source of Project Farm. His testing of several heaters, using his intricate home made methods are always fascinating. In the end he chose this Dreo model as being his favourite. So I was sold. This heater is good. Probably the best tower model we’ve had in the house in all the years yet. It wins because the fans blow heat out several feet and in doing so, fills a nice small to medium room easily. In our case it’s the master bedroom. I have no idea who Dreo is as a company. Do they build economy products? Premium? Are they reliable? This is now my experiment I guess. When I unboxed it my wife thought ‘oh another lousy heater to try’. Not in this case. She loves this one. We both do. It has three settings, 1500 watt and two lower settings. But we keep it on ECO mode, which is essentially the thermostat setting. We punch in our desired temperature and the Dreo will get there and when it does, automatically shut off. When the room cools some, it automatically turns back on to get the temp back to where you set it. This process continues indefinitely, so once you set your comfortable temperature you really set and forget. Our last heater was a no name Amazon brand and honestly, even when new, it wasn’t good. But we kept it for a season and once we hit minus 10 degrees Celsius, we had to make a change. Even though we have central HVAC, our master bedroom is always too cold in the winter and too hot in summer. With this Dreo tower heater, as long as it lasts (it’s the only think I can’t account for as we’ve had it for only a week), then this is a great buy. On top of the aforementioned, it’s nice looking, extremely quiet (we have to look at it sometimes to see if it’s on), it comes with a remote control (pretty standard fare) and a printed instruction manual. I’d say so far this nearly perfect. My only con, and this goes with pretty much all these heaters, is every time I try to use the remote control, it seems to be after the sun has gone down and the room has soft lighting. With my ‘mature’ eyes, I can never see the indicator markings on the remote. I have to break out my flashlight. I would love to see an illuminated remote control. I’d pay extra for it personally. Luckily, you don’t need the remote much, especially if you put the ECO mode on (recommended). But sometimes in bed, my wife says, it’s too hot now (I seem to be the remote control king in this house so she looks at me). Small issue and the beauty is, we we now have a heater that has the ability to overheat our room, something I don’t think any other heater we’ve had before could ever do. If it lasts - absolutely recommended.

O Produto chegou bem embalado.
