Works well to keep power unit dry. I was able to operate the joystick controller both on top of/through the plastic, as well as with my hand slid under the plastic. Iโd recommend this product.

So far so good
I'm uncertain about its water proof status, but so far so good. I bought it to protect the electrical connections on the control arm, and it appears that it will do that without any problems. The only fault that I've noticed so far is that I'll have to adjust and/or remove it to use the light that I bought that fits into the charging socket on the front of the control arm. Other than that I'm quite satisfied with it.

Too small for a larger power chair joystick
The cover is quit small; it covers the top of his arm rest and the joystick but he is not able to get his hand under the cover comfortably enough to then drive his chair safely. It would be helpful if it was a bit larger with velcro or a pull tie to adjust the fitting a bit better.

Bad design, wrist area is extremely tight.
Elastic is really very tight around my wrist & I have teeny tiny wrists. And yet the rest of the cover is excessively large, clumsy, and bulky. Overall, a poorly designed product. I'm going to sew my own cover with a vinyl window. This thing is actually ugly & ridiculous looking. It also is impossible to use the LED headlight mounted on the joystick arm. And when it's rainy outside, you really need for others to see your headlight. And at the same time, you need greater illumination of your path. But it covers up the LED lamp.

Great product but poor design...
This could have been the perfect protector if the design had not been reversed. The size and the shape are perfect. The problem is the "dome" part : it should be on the top, not the bottom, so that clear plastic be on the top where you need more space to manoeuver the joystick. The opaque black flat part should go under the the electric arm. I have a very small wrist and still, the elastic band was quite tight on my forearm. Could be with velcro instead of the elastic to make it more adjustable for the owner's need. This is a product that was probably not tried and tested in real life by a person in a wheelchair. I had to return it.
