Makita is best!
Works great. I think it works better than the original one that my wife "misplaced" with two rechargeable batteries. The old one was fine but I discovered these things have a fan inside but it never kicked on in the old one and it got hot. This new charger for sure has a fan and it is very evident. Can't beat the price for this as they are usually 3 times what I paid. I consider myself fortunate that I'm not out a hundred bucks to replace something my wife threw in the trash that had no issues. Now I need to get the 18v batteries replaced and my Makita cordless stuff will be useful again. Last note...these Makita cordless tools have lasted longer than ALL the other cordless brands I have ever had and I have owned most of them. From the old Sears branded stuff to the cheap ten dollar junk you can get on the junk site that sounds like "team" and add a U to it. Just get the Makita stuff and you won't need to replace it as long as you don't over abuse it. Other brands have gotten cheaper and therefore worse over time but I love my Makita tools!

How is this so cheap and seemingly genuine?
I've looked at this very closely and it really does appear to be a genuine Makita charger. How is it so much cheaper than anywhere else? Maybe it fell off a truck.
