You have to have this red pepper if you are making Red Chili Oil and the like. I have tried to be cheap and use other chili flakes and my chili oil never comes our red nor as flavorful.These Sichuan Chili Flakes are the real deal. These are great, and a bargain. They have more heat than regular chili flakes, but not excruciating like Thai Chili Pepper Flakes. They've a nice pepper flavor as well. Great for mixing into sweet chili sauce for egg rolls.

Fresh and flavorful

They don’t have much flavor. They are very hot. But unlike crushed red pepper, they have pretty much no flavor. It was fresh which was nice.

I must keep my diet very low in sodium, so I cook every meal myself. Leaving out the salt tends to lead to bland food, so I use lots of vinegar and spices in my cooking. Since I started using Amazing Chile products, it's helped quite a bit in making my food more palatable. I looked up recipes for chili crisp and modified it not to use sodium products and I really like the results. I definitely like this brand. Everything I've tried so far has been excellent quality.

Finally decided to buy Szechuan chili flakes and made some chili oil that was amazing with this brand.

I have a gallon of hot oil. It turned out great. Going to buy it again.
