Although the LX9max has the capacity of 250 hPa, I typically operated on mode “B,” 35 minute cycle time, @ 180 hPa (max.). I think some of the other manufacturers get carried away with the marketing concept of “more is better.” At least for my use (muscular recovery and not vascular assist), having more than 4 air bladders is not an advantage. It just means more hoses and more connections for leaks and potential damage. For muscular recovery, I recommend the LX9max because it has 4 air bladders and not more. You shouldn’t think more bladders means a better device. Very straightforward design and “sure-fit-no-leak” hose to unit connection.What about fit? Fit is critical to properly perform leg compression. I am a big guy - 187 cm tall and weigh 112 kg. I purchased the XXL size, along with the zipper extenders. It turned out XXL sizing is accurate to actual size, and I therefore did not need the zipper extenders and was very happy with the perfect fit of the XXL.I waited one month after I received my DOCTOR LIFE LX9max Sequential Air Compression Recovery System to write this review. I wanted to find out for myself if this device is worth the money and also if LX9max was the right choice. I earlier mentioned that I am an athlete - I cycle more than 15,000 KM every year, for more than 50 years. I have been using the LX9max to help in recovery for 35 minutes, about 4-5 times every week. The device is well made and I suspect the hoses, air bladders, and other components will have a long life. Overall, this system is very durable.Significantly, after use I have fewer muscle cramps and less inflammation. This benefit results in being able to recover faster and do more - a real competitive advantage for any endurance sport athlete. I also sleep more restfully. The DOCTOR LIFE LX9max Sequential Air Compression Recovery System has become an essential part of my training program.Perhaps it is easy to see from my review - I am happy with my purchase because of the quality, value, customer support, device performance, and actual benefits from the therapy. I plan to purchase from DOCTOR LIFE again. I will order extra legs in a smaller size for my wife for muscular recovery therapy, and an additional unit for my mother in the USA for vascular assistance and reduction in inflammation treatment. I recently tried a leg massage machine during an acupuncture session. As an avid golfer who uses a push cart several times a week, my legs often feel heavy and tired, and I sometimes experience leg cramps. This leg massager has been incredibly beneficial.
