Amazing
I was pleased to see that almost all the ladybugs were alive and moving. I had a really bad infestation of aphids on my crepe myrtle and I’m hoping this solves my problem.

These are Asian beetles; not ladybugs.
I would have highly preferred lady bugs, as they are not going to burrow into my animals mouths and be harmful. Plus, selling them as ladybugs is false advertising.

So much fun for the kids
It was so much fun for the kids to release them in the garden. The birds had a feast and not one was left the next day…But, the kids want to make shelters for the bugs and order them again…Maybe…

Alive and doing the job!
They cost alot more than my first buy. I need to remember to purchase them a little earlier, not months ahead. Ladies bugs alive and well! And we have not had the aphid problems!! Definite worth the buy, just don't buy in season, lesson learned.

And then there was one....
Let me start by saying that the seller shipped these ladybugs way ahead of schedule and all of them arrived alive. Unfortunately, there were no instructions or anything in the box, just a netted bag full of lady bugs and a few pieces of straw. Still, they were all alive. WERE. I followed the advice I read online to release them at dusk, when it's cooler, after watering our garden. I released them onto our plants around our garden. We have a aphid problem, so I figured they'd have plenty to eat. All seemed well, until the next morning. I woke up to find that at least 30 of them had congregated on one potato plant and died. I don't use pesticides or chemicals of any kind, so this seemed strange to me. My husband and I walked around the garden trying to see if any more were around. We found one on one of our bush bean plants. ONE. We released them on Sunday, today is Wednesday and all we can find is that one. Did the rest fly away? I don't know, but I feel it was a complete waste of money especially with so many dying in the first 24 hours. Did I do something wrong? Some instructions would have been nice. I would advise you to do your research as some gardeners say not to waste your money unless your releasing them into an enclosed area like a greenhouse. But this time of year, our greenhouse is too hot for ladybugs, so that wasn't an option for us.

LadyBugs showed up alive, healthy and ready to get to work.
I have never used ladybugs in a garden before so wasn't sure what to expect. These were delivered on time and in great condition. I will definitely be ordering again soon. We have a butterfly garden that has recently developed a problem with aphids- but I didn't want to spray pesticides. Ordered 1 set of ladybugs- when they arrived they were very active in the bag - it was raining so I couldn't release them until the following evening- stored them in the refrigerator overnight. the next evening they were released, got right to work and have stuck around! Well worth a try if you were thinking about using them.
