I didn't realize how much I needed this product until I tried it. I started restringing my pearl necklace and the silk thread knotting on me and I'd have keep starting over. The wax made the thread much easier to work with

I had never used thread wax before but I like it! Seems to keep tangling to a minimum! The container makes it easy and clean to use. My only complaint is I wish it wasn’t as visible. I’m very careful to not use too much because I’ve seen it leave a visible residue. Not an issue with some mindfulness though.

A great sewing tool that i did not know existed until watching an old-world sewing program wherein wax was used to keep the thread from pulling, becoming entangled, or dragging on the fabric. If you do ANY kind of hand-sewing - cross stitch, embroidery, mending, quilting and more, then this is a MUST-HAVE item for your sewing box. It is easy enough to run the thread through the wax that is encased in a perfectly sized protective plastic container that allows ease of functionality and with pull- through openings that allows one to bind and pull the thread through the wax; thus, producing a much sturdier feel to the thread that definitely reduces the likelihood of entanglement or breakage and allows the thread to move through finer ( or even denser) fabric without damaging the fabric nor the thread.

I have purchased some other thread conditioners, which are better quality than this one. But this one actually does OK and fits into my budget right now. It’s not the beeswax that I am used to using. But it works great so until I can once again get my favorite beeswax I will probably buy this again.
