VERY SURPRISED! Product and Price are GREAT!
I have been using this Lenovo for four months and I have to say that I am really impressed with its performance and UI. I am a veteran of laptops and thought I wanted to try a 2in1 and was leaning towards a Surface Pro 4. I have say that I spent half the price of a Surface and this Miix510 is kicking butt. Windows 10, Lit keyboards, Solid state drive, video is awesome, sound could be better. (Speakers ) When used with Bluetooth headset, manually plugging in buds, or external speaker the sound is clear and perfect. So far so good! I would highly recommend for the general user, college student, etc. I have been a Graphic Designer for over 30 years and I would have no problem installing Adobe CC on this device. I was a DELL man for many years and was hesitant in buying Lenovo, but I have to say for the price I have an awesome laptop / tablet.!!

Totally dissatisfied with Lenovo
This is the worst experience with any piece of electronics I ever bought. The unit died on me during the installation of MS Office early August. I contacted Lenovo support, which seems to be located in the Philippines. The technician gave me the run around with holding buttons, unplugging and plugging the unit back in, etc., until he determined the battery had died and the cause was probably due to a faulty charger/power supply. A replacement charger arrived 10 days later. The machine still did not work. Again, calling the Philippines where the support technician made me to go through all the previous steps again, until he determined (after of 30 minutes on the phone), that the machine needed to go to repair. It took 7 days to get the return box. After about 10 days, I got the machine back with a repair order that stated: "system restored to factory setting". The machine powered up just to die again after about 20 minutes. Philippine technician AGAIN! After another frustrating 30 minutes of pushing buttons and unplugging and plugging in the unit, the technician determined AGAIN that the machine need to go to repair. Waited AGAIN 7 days for the return box to arrive. Now the machine has been at the Lenovo repair for almost a month (it is now December 20, 2017). Contacted support twice via chat. The answer is, "do not worry, we will get the repair done as quickly as possible." Lenovo is the worst. Will never ever buy anything with the Lenovo name on it.

I find this machine difficult to use
I find this machine very difficult to use. The tablet mode doesn't work as well as my iPad. Key board doesn't always appear, screen doesn't reposition correctly. For example, if I am using gmail in chrome, I have to close the keyboard in order to expose the send button. Equally, the PC mode doesn't work well either. For some reason I have yet to figure out, the size option on many windows is unavailable. Pressing the "non full page" icon has no effect. It as taken me twice as long as it should to write this review as the cursor almost randomly repositions itself. I've had many laptops and a tablet before and have never had these issues, so I'm pretty sure it isn't "user error". At 11 months after purchase I am updating this review and reducing to two stars. There have also been hardware issues. Several months after I bought the machine the light sensor stopped working and the screen was constantly dim. There was an easy workaround: change the settings so that the screen never dimmed. But now at 11 months the machine stopped charging. I took it to the local Lenovo repair site. They requested to send the machine back to Lenovo. That request was denied and Lenovo sent a new motherboard to the repair shop.

Very smart purchase
It took me some time... but i was window shopping for many month before i got to this model.I am a student and saw a colleague using this computer as a digital notebook (basically for taking notes in lectures one would use his A4 size notebook)... seeing how pleased he was, I did my research on it and bought it.May testify that I never looked back :)it took me a week to get used to the penmanship of the stylus but once you get used to it, it just like writing on paper - which was the most important thing for me as that is the reason I bought it - a digital notebook to write research notes just like in the past i did with pen & paper.the working area is just the size of an acutal "writining area" of an A4 page which is just right, the stylus (as i said before) is super reactive works just like a real pen (once you get used to the lesser friction with the surface as you don't write on actual paper but a screen) the "palm rejection" feature works amazing and natural.and as a bonus as it is an I7 intel core and DDR4... its just a great computer to use for even more then the everyday stuff... eversince i bought it, it is both my laptop and my "digital paper" in one.Highly recommended for students and people looking for a PC and a "digital notebook" for writing to finally stop using paper, get you desk organized, get rid of lanky binders and have a very... very good laptop.

A good adjunct when I don't want to lug around my ...
Really flexible, and fullfils my need for a small laptop or tablet as needed. A good adjunct when I don't want to lug around my big laptop.

Fragile keyboard for a plug/unplug design
Great machine performance, but the keyboard is not working after 2weeks of use. it is easy to say that connectors (pins in pic) are very fragile for a plug/unplug design. besides it is not very friendly to unattach, it takes some strengh which cannot be good for either the screen nor the keyboard.
