OtterBoxSlim Series Case for iPhone 12 Pro Max with MagSafe, Shockproof, Drop proof, Ultra-Slim, Protective Thin Case, Tested to Military Standard, Blue/Grey

Read so much about Otterbox cases and always wanted to try one but found them too expensive. So, when I saw this one on special offer I thought I’d give it a go. Have to say I’m thoroughly pleased. Fits my phone perfectly, easy to hold and like the colour combo. I’ve give a 4 for sturdy simply because I’ve only had it a very short time. That said it’s the sturdiest case I’ve bought so far. Would I buy this brand again - definitely.

If this is their slim series then I’d dread to think what their big series is! My phone felt huge with this case on and actually became uncomfortable to hold.That being said it doesn’t take away from the strength and sturdiness of this case. It is certainly well built and does feel like it would survive being thrown about.However the materials were also poorly chosen. The rubber bumper was soft and grippy but the back is made from a hard plastic that just slips around on nearly every surface. If I placed it on my trousers or sofa arm, it slid off almost immediately.If you’re clumsy or drop your phone often, then it might be worth it, but for a generic case then I don’t recommend this.

Material - hardcover main body with softer material around the edges to absorb any impact. The material does NOT mark or scratch too easily. Unlike soft silicone which can pick up dirt or lint easily. Or leather faux leather which I have found scratches or leaves marks and stains with time with other covers.Design - good lip around screen and camera to prevent damage if dropped on an even surface. Appears fairly sleek but is clearly a plastic material so not quite as stylish as leather perhaps. For me, this is a trade-off for durability and phone protection.

Great case. Great grip at the sides, fists easily in my hand. MagSafe too.

Te safe is all good with its compatibility with iPhone 12 Pro Max. The buttons and holes are placed well and responsive but the magnets are too weak. It simply does stay on the magnetic car holder and falls off easily. I tested it by just moving the car forward gently and it slips off. Can’t risk my phone using this case. Returning it.

This is a great sturdy case.I initially found it felt a bit slippery to hold in comparison to previously using a softer grippy case but this was soon overcome and it doesn’t feel slippy anymore. The grip is good.The case is well made and allows full functionality of the phone.The front edges are raised giving a degree of protection to the screen.Have received compliments on how the case looks.Very pleased with the purchase
