Lovely skirt,very smart but if your child is slender it runs big,I first ordered an 11-12 for my nearly 15yr old,it was massive,I ordered a 9-10 and it's still huge at 30" waist,,if I was to order her waist size would need to order a 5-6!!

Originally bought 16-18 years old but took it back and bought 14-16 years old. The skirt is 100% polyester and not the most comfortable fabric, but most likely very durable. I am a size 14 and the smaller size fit me. It is exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price but I don’t know if I would recommend it for everyday wear as the fabric is very coarse and the Velcro fasten scratch’s as you move.

Age 15-16 is probably for a size uk18 woman. All sizes are massive so probably best going down about eight sizes. My 15 year old who is average size uk10 tried on the size 7-8 skirt I'd reordered after a return and it was still too big. Lovely and smart skirt but size labels need a serious redo. Disappointing really as my daughters were very excited for them. I won't be reordering after what will now be three returns.
