The Detective Society | The Disappearance of Claire Makova | Whole Season - Immersive Murder Mystery Style Game. Can you solve the crime?

I have played a number of adult detective games as I love solving puzzles and mysteries with a point and a purpose. I wasn't sure about buying this one as the set is expensive, but it has to be one of the best detective games I've ever played. It is not just lots of police files and forensic notes to read through like a lot of other games. In this pack, there are puzzles within puzzles to solve, emails to send, online sites to visit and much more. I LOVED this game and it's worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Mr Bee and I have been able to review a number of these detective or escape room type games, and this one has definitely been one of the best. The care and quality expended is definitely reflected in the price, but if you compared the cost of a pair of cinema tickets per game, it seems reasonable, as the game is so much more interactive and engaging.To get the best out of it, you do need WiFi, phone, WhatsApp etc, but so would a real detective!Great fun.

So I love my desktop gaming, I like my crime and detective shows, so when I was offered the chance to plat ‘The Disappearance of Claire Makova’ I leapt at the chance.When it arrived, I was ecstatic, tore open the box, and… well… I was hugely confused…The listing says you get the whole season for the eyebrow raising sum of £168, what I got was part 6 only which raised both eyebrows skywards. Inside the box was various envelopes, but, as I don’t have the first 5 parts, like the listing says I should, I am unable to play the game.This is such a shame, especially as for £168 you only get part 6 instead of the whole season.

What a terrific idea for a game. One of its biggest selling points is that it’s most probably unlike any game you’ve ever played before - so there’s the novelty factor. The other plus is that you can play it on your own, with a partner, or you can play it with a group of friends or family members.This is a well thought out game, and a lot of work has been put into its creation. This will not insult your intelligence, but neither will you get bogged down in your ‘investigation’ of the crime. And remember, if you do find yourself in any difficulties, you can always phone a friend! To play, just ensure that you have internet access, an email account and the ability to make phone calls and send SMS or WhatsApp messages. If you have all those, then you’re going to have a lot of fun solving this Murder mystery - I know I did. Each ‘episode’ can be played as a standalone, though the stories do follow on from each other.I know a lot of folk will question the price of this game, but you have to remember that this is essentially a 6 game set. As an option, you can purchase individual games in The Detective Society series, which presently cost £29.99 per episode. I was impressed with this game, so I have no hesitation recommending it to all you amateur sleuths out there! Five stars all the way for this product. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband needed something to keep his mind busy while he was isolating from the rest of us trying not to spread his germs. He really enjoyed the challenge of this series. He even was sending us texts asking for help when he got stuck. It is very detailed and very fun.With 6 "episodes" there is plenty of crime solving to get your teeth stuck into. You definitely need to start at the beginning to get the most out of this. You can buy one episode at a time which might be an easier way to spread the cost out but once you get into them you will want to play more.

I am so thrilled with this game. Very interesting, keeps you intrigued to the last minute an absolute entertaining for the family or when friends come over. This is a great escape room without actually leaving your home. After one episode you just must have more. Whoever has created this game- hat down- very well thought, executed just brilliantly. Game is bonding, provides an unlimited fun and just wakes up in you curiosity to the maximum level. I could not be happier with this game, absolutely worth it’s price.

Really enjoyable challenging and entertaining games! Each episode playable as a stand alone but story follows on from each episode! Great puzzles and a cracking way to spend an evening with family members. A fully immersive world and the attention to detail is amazing - and lots of humour built in! Highly recommend this to families as varying levels of difficulty make it fun for all!

We loved the whole experience. The game is fantastic, the websites are so realistic and we felt like proper supersleuths. Will definitely be purchasing Season 2!
