I had my doubts buying these 6 pens for under $6 but was pleasantly surprised when I got them. The brush sizes and shapes are exactly what I was looking for in a set ~ each one is different. And the price can't be beat. They're packaged nicely in a little storage case. I tested each one and they all are working great... so far. I always add that caveat because so many things start out great and within a short time go bad. However, these cards were in the package offering a lifetime warranty! And they included a cute mustache sticker. I carry them in my travel sketch kit to add watercolor to my sketches without the mess or hassle of carrying paint brushes and water. They hold plenty of water to last through any sketching session and so I don't have to carry extra water. And so far no leaks. I use a sweat band around my wrist and squeeze water into the bristles and wipe it on the sweat band to clean it. I recommend these!

So these pens are actually pretty great! I've seen alot of reviews saying that they can't get the caps on or off without ruining the pen and the reason for that is that the head isn't being screwed on in the right direction. It's the opposite of right tights lefty loosey. Also there's a wick inside of the black circular thing that was blocking it up and making it very difficult to push the water through. I watched another reviewers video and removed the wick so now water comes out more smoothly. Only problem is that sometimes more water comes out than I expect but I always have a paper towel or napkins nearby to dab off the excess water. All in all very good product I like them!

These water color brushes are so good i use them a lot. They are easy to clean and i love the variety of brushes that come within the pack, they hold a lot of water inside but the brush part has good water retention which helps with smooth colors on paper. Its a good price for the amount of brushes in the pack. Its kind of comfortable in your hand and the plastic is pretty flimsy too but they work well. I would get a better set next time though

I’m loving these watercolor brush pens. Super easy to use except I did notice that they unscrew opposite. What a typical device unscrews. The rule of lefty Lucy writing tidy does not follow this tool. But once you remember that, getting the water in it and using it while on the go Works great.

Good for little art kids

I would not recommend nor buy again based on my review. I took a shot and for $5 I have re-learned a lesson. You get what you pay for I have several water filled brushes from different manufacturers. (I have paid more for 2 brushes.) I have got to say Mr. Pen quality is mediocre at best. I agree that the water barrel is thin and flimsy, however not terrible. I agree that it is difficult to get the water flowing to the brush. When you squeeze hard enough the water comes but it flows out from the where the barrel screws on and not through the brush. My solution is to squeeze onto a cloth and then the brush will be wet enough to dip in the color cake. UPDATE: I read this on another review. Open the barrel and on the part where the brush is the black base. It has a white “button” in the middle. If you push this button down into the black base (I used an embroidery needle) the button will go into the base and stay there. This button is stopping the water flowing freely. Once I did this to all the pens the water flowed properly onto the brush. Still only 3 stars since this should be in the instruction somewhere. All these water barrel brushes screw off/on backwards so that is not an issue to me. The brush material is good, basically the same as all other brushes of this type. As an aside: The Mr. Pen logo stamped on the plastic barrel rubs off in about 30 seconds of use. This is not really important for use but it does tell you that the manufacture is not of quality. I mean if you are gonna stamp your logo on the product you might want to ensure its permanence. Just saying.

Love these water brushes and you can’t beat the price!

I bought these to try to use for watercolor paintings rather than paint brushes. These are actually very easy and fun to use! At first I had a hard time put the cap back on after I put the water in them and realized that it screwed on the opposite way. The brush part seems to be of good quality as well and they are not messy. These would be great for kids!

These are great! My daughter is VERY crafty and tends to make a heck of a mess everyone (it's hard to be creative and clean at the same time!) but these keep the water in the brush and off of my carpets. The only issue we had is that they are sometimes challenging to get the tops off (they screw on backwards if that makes sense) but otherwise we've had them for a long time and they are still lasting!
