Great Soap! Extra Benefits!
I am very allergic to sulfates so I can't even wash my dogs with the average pet shampoo. Found this soap through another site. Cleared up one dog's 'dandruff' and keeps the others' coats shiny and clean smelling (at least two weeks in the summertime - and we go running in the country twice a week). Another benefit - my dogs don't get fleas or ticks. (Yes, I use flea and tick treatment, but once you wash the dogs, the treatment becomes much less effective - and, with running in the country, they can pick up a lot). When my daughter brought home a different shampoo, I tried it. Within a week I noticed a tick on my bedspread!!! We went back to using this soap! Then, my five-year-old Heeler mix got allergic foliculitis on his head (between the ears) after being groomed at a kennel we left the dogs at for two nights. Should've known better, but I thought it would be okay just once. I used this soap every day for three days and the foliculitis went away. Nothing else. Just this soap. In order to make it last longer because it can get pretty soft after bathing three dogs in a row, I rinse the bar off and keep it out on a soap tray by my bath. Lasts quite awhile and I think it's so much better than the average shampoo. Plus, you're not putting awful chemicals on your dog's skin!

Love this shampoo
Our Beagle has always had dry skin, and all of the "soothing oatmeal" dog shampoos weren't helping, at all. It also seemed like she only smelled nice and felt clean and shiny for a day or two after a bath. Like other shampoos were only covering the dry skin and "dog smell" instead of really cleaning it. I bathed her with this last week and she is still SO soft and shiny! She isn't scratching herself constantly anymore, and her skin seems way less flaky. I'm assuming that it's going to take a few more shampoos for the dandruff to totally go away and for her couple bald spots to grow back. I will try to update. And she does NOT smell bad! She doesn't smell like perfume either, she just kind of has no smell at all, which is fine with me as long as it's helping her dry skin. I think if your dog stinks after using this, maybe you just didn't rinse them well enough. The soap itself does smell kind of funny, but my dog doesn't stink. Its a small bar but I rubbed it directly on her fur and have shampooed her twice and it's barely made a dent in the bar, so I think it should last a while. Overall really happy with this and so relieved that she finally seems comfortable and clean and happy.

The soap does the job for my dog!
My vet recommended this for my dogs hot spots and it definitely helped. The soap bar itself smells good but when I used it on my hound dog mix, it made her smell worse, after she dried she smelt much better and she wasnt itching as much. It was also a little difficult to get a lather. If this were just a normal soap I wouldn't reccomend it but it benefited her skin condition. If your dog suffers from hotspots I would give it a try! The initial smell of wet dog outweighs the benefits it had! Teddy has had hot spots for about 8 years now and I've tried soap after soap and this one finally did the job. No hotspots that take the fur away this year and no come of shame! The first year in like 5 years!

My Pom grew his fur back!
The Dermagic products really did help my 3 year old Pomeranian grow his fur back! At first I just thought he was shedding fur for the summer but became alarmed when he developed completely bald spots on his tummy & back legs and then on both sides of his neck. He was diagnosed with Alopecia X. I used the shampoo bar, conditioner & lotion and within 2 months he started regrowing wispy fur. Itโs now the 3rd month and his fur is becoming a little thicker, though it is growing slower in the areas that became bald first. I am so thankful I found these products because Alopecia X is extremely serious and vets donโt seem to be aware of them.

Wonderful product
An elderly friend's dog was diagnosed with Black Skin disease. While the dog didn't lose all of her hair, she lost all of her undercoat, her guard hairs thinned out, her skin was crusty and black in small patches all over her body, and she smelled. My friend bathed her once, sometimes twice a week for months as prescribed by the vet. But, while the antibiotics and baths helped slightly, the dog's hair wasn't growing back and the odor remained. Needless to say, both my friend and her dog were miserable. I saw this product and thought it was worth a try. Within a few weeks, the dog's undercoat started growing back in, the crusty patches lessened, and the odor was almost eliminated. The baths were soon reduced to once a month. With the dog's skin feeling better, both my friend and her dog were happier. Since the shampoo worked so well, my friend's daughters bought it to use on their own dogs. I'd recommend this shampoo for any owner with a dog who has a skin issue or for dogs for whom the vet has recommended regular baths as part of their treatment.

I LOVE having a bar to wash the dogs
I LOVE having a bar to wash the dogs, it's so easy to get soap in all the spots and it seems like you have to use a lot less product than liquid. That being said, I think this bar is way overpriced, and after washing two dogs I have already used 1/3 the bar. I appreciate the quality, I appreciate that it's cruelty free, I just can't get over how expensive it is. You can get bars twice the size for half the price on Etsy, I'll probably go that route next time.

Works Wonders!
Our little yorkie mix began to have skin issues about two years ago- no matter what we tried it only got worse. She was on antibiotics and all sorts of expensive shampoos and creams. She eventually lost all of her hair and was covered in oozing sores. We were actually debating on whether to put her to sleep or not because we didn't want her to suffer any more. I asked my husband to give me 6 more months to try and solve her problem. I decided to try DERMagic shampoo. IT WORKED WONDERS!! Within a week the sores were gone. I bathed her every other day. I switched to the bar soap because of the good reviews- super sudsy and just as effective, Now two months later she is covered with soft white hair and is a different dog. She is so happy and playful again! I wash her once a week for maintenance and will continue to do that. This shampoo literally saved her life. So grateful! :)

I was amazed at the suds that appeared
First, there isn't a liquid shampoo or a dispensing device that has worked as well on my dog in the eight years that I have had her. She is a 50 lb. rescue combination of Lhasa Apso and Chow (DNA tested). Her fur is long and dense and difficult to penetrate with any dispensing device or creative application of water and shampoo. I used a shower diverter hose to wet her down until fur was entirely penetrated (extremely important and takes a while) then took the bar and rubbed. I was amazed at the suds that appeared. Kept applying water and soap and before long she was encased in soap bubbles and enjoying every minute of it. Took the hose diverter and rinsed and rinsed and rinsed some more (extremely important under legs around hips and backside). She is highly allergic and prone to reactions once washed. She was soft and fluffy when dry. Slept the rest of the day in the sun. No allergic reaction. Two days later still no reaction but still soft and fluffy with a clean smell. Happy dog happy owner. But the amazing part is very little of the bar was used to accomplish this. I would have been happy using the whole bar and then some to achieve these results. So worth it.
