The Blissful Dog Shine-On + Sheen Coat Spray, All Natural, Leave-in Conditioner and Coat Detangler for Your Dog, 4 Oz

The shine boosting effect is mild at best (you might be better off with a coat finishing serum for that purpose) however this spray is phenomenal at softening and moisturizing a coat so that it can be combed easier plus helps repel water. Very fine mist which is perfect for anxious dogs that hate getting wet. The fragrance is fairly mild and shampoo-like. This doesn’t dry the coat out like alcohol based mists and it leaves my Shih-Tzu’s hair very silky. The amodimethicone ingredient (a silicone) helps repel water and the vitamin B (panthenol) plus glycerin not only moisturize the coat but also the skin (if you remove the undercoat using a special undercoat removing brush tool then it can reach the skin better). Amodimethicone is also great for reducing frizz without making hair greasy (a wonderful ingredient for both human and dog hair however dogs need their own grooming products since their skin has a higher pH). This spray does help soften the fur so that a comb or brush can slide through easier so it does have some detangling benefits. My dog doesn’t have matted fur because we are diligent about daily grooming care so I can’t attest to its benefits in that regard.

It works great my dog has long fur and her fur is like cotton and tangles easy I spray her with this and then can brush her easily

My puppy has been struggling with her fur matting. This product finally helped me solve untangle all the knots. By gradually applying the spray and using a trimmer to get the roots, I was able to remove the patch of fur that was entangled.
