It is a plastic mask, like a kids mask from years ago. Covers only the face and has an elastic band. My husband said its slightly uncomfortable because of the nose area. It feels like its getting squished. But he likes the whole costume and only needs it to pop out and scare the trick-or-treaters. Lol.
