I have temperamental stomach that can sometimes turn bad from spice and sour foods. Chewing up one of these ahead of time prepares my stomach ahead of time. They taste very good, kind of like licorice candy. Use with caution though as it can sometimes cause really bad gas. Be sure to limit to just one, or not at all if the meal is small.

Even though I’m not a black licorice fan, these have a mild flavor and are actually quite pleasant to chew or suck on. My doctor recommended it 15 minutes before a meal to help with esophagitis and heartburn. It was part of my healing process.

I'm not crazy about prescriptions bc of the potential side-effects, so when two ordered for my stomach acid problems didn't help, I quit them and tried DGL. Wonderful results! I have IBS and maybe SIBO and was on the FODMAP elimination diet, which is very restrictive. With DGL, I can eat just about anything. Two downsides with DGL, though: (1) you have to remember to take it 20 minutes before you eat/drink, and (2) you're supposed to take it a max of three times a day and I need to do it four times (which I'm doing, so far with no problem). Also, DGL is licorice and tastes mildly like it, if that matters to you. Fortunately, I love licorice.

I bought these DGL tablets to take in the morning on an empty stomach, as I sometimes deal with throat mucus and that uncomfortable post-nasal feeling. The tablets are fairly large but not too hard — easy to bite and chew, with a slightly sweet, pleasant taste. I take one in the morning before food and chew it slowly. I like that the bottle contains 180 tablets, so it lasts a long time and feels like good value. For me, it’s part of a gentle digestive support routine. Might be helpful for those dealing with throat mucus, post-nasal drip, or occasional nasal swelling.

This is something I take before meals. It helps my digestive system work better and not get upset. The tablets taste good and are easy to chew. What more could you want?

I’ve been using this product for 3 years now, and it always helps relieve acidity and burning in my stomach or throat. It’s also great for easing constipation. I would recommend upgrading the bottle, though—the cap doesn’t close tightly, so it’s not fully airtight, which would help keep the tablets from getting soggy if not used for a while

It's a mild help for acid reflux with a nice, mild taste. I don't think it would help with severe cases of GERD but it substitutes well Tums. I would prefer if it had a stronger taste of licorice but I guess that would go against the 'american way".

This one replaced manuka honey which too expensive.. This product, if we consume as per suggested dosage, lit.. No gastric issue, no burning in stomach nothing, and no need of meds like panto kind of PPIs (acid blockers) which we should not take.. It will took 1 week for me since mine was chronic issue.. I did not faced Any blood pressure issue .. But, if I consume more than suggested dose, i will get head ache.. But I'm so happy because I can eat whatever I want..

Great product! I started using this after an issue with ulcers. I chose this instead of toxic pharmaceutical petroleum based drugs. I love it.
