What a delight! This useful tool makes fast work of peeling everything from potatoes to carrots to pineapple - especially pineapple. The eye gougers on either side of the working head have different shapes, one being a half circle, the other more pointed. It knocks those pineapple eyes right off the fruit with little effort. It’s a hand-held mandolin that will create thin flat slices on one side and julienne sticks on the other. It is stainless steel, sturdy and easy to clean. It is a great tool at a great price. Would make a great gift for the cook in your life, especially if it’s you! I highly recommend it.

Very easy to use.

The vegetable peeler is very sharp; however, like others I think it’s very difficult to peel the Julienne strips. I’ve been trying with carrots and the blade gets hung up about halfway down the carrot stick, and then the strip breaks off and it often gets clogged with carrot and you have to constantly pick the shreds out. Will probably end up tossing this

I stumbled upon this product and had to have one!! I have ot been sorry. Both sides skim beautifully and it makes making carrot salad a breeze. It is perfectly weighted and has comfortable handle.

This is a very good utensils. However, this tool takes a little practice to get the hang of. For salads, stir-frys, hard to peel vegetables it is very handy. I suggest, as they teach in culinary school, create a flat side on your hard vegetables, like carrots, to keep it stable. I like to peel potatoes by pulling this peeler towards your body. Remember, this is as sharp as a knife, use it with caution. It will peel your fingers just like a vegetable. This is just like using a mandolin, mind your digets.
