the 3 handle sections are roughly 18 inches (plus/minus 1 inch) each and the basket attaches to the handle.

Is this any better than the Exact Brand? Looks the same other than hole pattern and blue handle.

this is the first one I've ever owned so I can't compare. mine works really well for sand fleas.

the rake assembled weighs roughly 6 pounds

Would this work to sift chicken poop from sand?

i imagine so. it sifts sand crabs from sand and if the chicken poop is solid and somewhat hard it should work. I'm not a chicken farmer though i just fish
