The first light you see as I'm going down the stairs is a battery operated motion light. I've been using it for a while, but since it takes C batteries it's a bit expensive. The second light is the motion activated light bulb. I wanted something brighter and more cost effective. This is definitely an improvement!!! If you install it during the daytime just be patient. It will only work for a brief second before going off, it does not come on during the daytime. But since I wanted it for a dark stairwell, I think it is awesome!! I also had to remove the globe the goes over the light bulb in order for it to detect motion. Just a heads up. 😊

Used for motion detection near side garage door. It always catches any motion. I know because my camera catches that as well.

Sticks out of my outdoor fixture just enough for the motion sensor to work. It's a good solution if you need light but don't want bugs attracted to it all night.

Fair price and really lights up the area. Goes off after movement quits with a delay.

The work great in my laundry, shed and basement utility room. Places where I usually have my hands full and am destined trip on something looking for the light switch. These were worth the price. I wish they came in a softer color than the bright white. I didn't see that option when I purchased them. I don't want to depend on wifi and smart bulbs everywhere but still wanted the hands-free benefit. These fit the bill and the budget.

It won’t come on during daylight hours even though the inside stairwell to my basement laundry room is fairly dark. There’s a tiny window in an outside door 5 feet from the top of the stairs that lets in minimal light. I have to close the stairwell door at the top of the stairs to be engulfed in pitch black before it will turn on so I can see well enough to safely go down the stairs. I usually have a load of laundry in both my arms so don’t want to let go too flip a switch. I thought this would be my answer but now I have to use an arm to shut the door behind me which is even harder than letting go with one arm to flip the switch in the first place. I can’t find any motion detection bulbs without the dusk to dawn feature. When I search for ’without dusk to dawn’ it searches for the words ‘dusk to dawn’ specifically lol. If I could turn off the dusk to dawn function I would be so happy to turn it off! I also have an outside storage room door that the light won’t come on in there during the day from the minimal light coming in from outside the door. But I desperately need that light on. Anyone over 50 needs brighter light to see everything.

I have one of theses bulbs installed outside and one indoors. Both are working exactly as they should (as opposed to a slightly cheaper brand I had purchased previously, which did not). They are very sensitive to motion even at a ten foot distance but do not turn on when there is sufficient ambient light. They stay on for a minute after sensing motion but also will stay on longer if they continue to sense motion. The light output is 100 watt equivalent and very bright. Keep in mind that the sensor on these bulbs needs to be exposed so they will not work in a fully enclosed light fixture.

Son buenos, pero se apagan a pesar de que uno se esté moviendo constantemente en la habitación. Compré otra marca que no le pasa esto y se solucionó.

Super bien funciona de inmediato, ya podré levantarme por las noches y cruzar el pasillo sin problemas

These are great lights that will save you money. I used to always leave my outdoor lights on but when I calculated how much electricity they were using I figured I needed to do something about it. My calculations say I should save what I paid for these in electricity in about 7 months, then it’s all savings after that! They are also nice and bright!

Son súper cómodos ya que no tienes que estar al pendiente de encender y apagar el foco.

Encienden de noche y se apagan de día en automático, según la luz deben dejarse encendido el botón pero ayuda a no estar al pendiente de encender y apagar, lo hace en automático
