Disappointing
This brand of shoe string licorice has always been thin and delicious. While the packaging says it’s the same brand, the product is terrible. It’s thick and gummy, taste is lacking. Worst yet, it’s twice as much as it used to be.

Overall good but a massive 2lb blob of intertwined licorice is kind of a pain to detangle and not have to touch all of them.... Not the best packaging by far

Honest to goodness Dutch licorice for a great price!
This is truly excellent “real” black licorice made with licorice root and molasses. It is the Dutch variety so it is has more chew than the soft Australian licorice. This is the kind of string licorice I grew up on in Europe and loved when I visited Holland. Not that I don’t like the Australian soft licorice because it is made of great ingredients too. Just this is more licorice for the buck and it brings back so many great memories. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
