Customer support. Standard or Pro? Pro or 2 Pro?
A great place to start my review is with a comment on the customer service provided by LensCoat. Amazon had some problems delivering my RainCoat, but the folks at LensCoat were gracious enough to step in and deliver me one quickly. I had also contacted LensCoat about sizing prior to purchase. Their representative responded almost immediately, and the advice was spot-on. If you are unsure about size or have any questions about this product, I recommend reaching out to LensCoat directly. Their customer service is excellent. So far, I have found this product to be well designed. Based on previous experience the RainCoat will be very long-lived which justifies the price tag if you get the model that suits your needs. The main setups this product will cover is the Canon R5/R6 and the EF 400DOII coupled with the EF/RF adaptor, and the 1.4x or 2x teleconverter, the EF 500 f/4 or the RF 600 F/4. All Canon ‘big white’ lenses will require the pro version of the RainCoat due to the size of the hood. The standard model simply won’t fit over the hood. That said the diminutive size of the 400DOII means you’ll have a lot of excess material to deal with when using the RainCoat with this lens. You will be able to manage it with the cinch straps built into the cover. Nevertheless, it still feels a little oversized for this lens. The RainCoat Pro really comes into its own when used on the 500 or 600. The fit is great. For all non ‘big white’ Canon lenses such as the RF 100-500, RF 70-200, EF 400 f/5.6, etc. you will be better off with the standard model. 3rd party 150-600 zooms are the difficult choice. Overall length may come up a little short with the standard and you’ll have a lot of excess material with the Pro. Especially when using the lens partially or full retracted. As for the Pro or the 2 Pro version (with 2 sleeves) it depends on your use. I typically don’t need to access anything other than the camera body when using long primes and it is easy enough to manipulate the focus ring from the exterior of the RainCoat so the version with one sleeve is fine for me. If you regularly use other rings or buttons on your lens, you may be better off with the 2 Pro version. I would advise giving this some thought before purchase. It might make sense to pay a little extra for the 2 Pro version ‘just in case’ but the sleeves do add just enough extra material to be noticeable especially on shorter rigs.

The velcro straps work great at keeping everything in place
Works well. Easy to put on. Velcro straps help keep everything in place when wind is strong.

Extremely Disappointed with Lenscoat Camera Rain Cover
Unfortunately, my experience with this product and the customer service from Lenscoat has been nothing short of disappointing.Upon receiving the camera rain cover, I immediately noticed several manufacturing defects that significantly affected its functionality and overall quality. It is disheartening to spend $100 on a product only to receive something that falls far below the expected standards. The defects were evident, making me question the quality control measures employed by Lenscoat.Adding to my frustration, Lenscoat's customer service failed to address my concerns adequately. Not only does the company refuse to cover the cost of return shipping for defective products, but they also expect me to wait for weeks to receive a replacement. This delay in receiving a functional rain cover is unacceptable, particularly when time-sensitive photography assignments are at stake. As a last resort, my wife has offered to sew the product herself to make it usable. It is absurd that as a customer, I am forced to consider such measures to salvage a brand-new product that should have met the promised standards in the first place. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this product to fellow photographers who rely on quality gear to protect their equipment. Lenscoat needs to reassess its quality control processes and customer service policies to deliver on its promises and regain the trust of its customers.

Great rain cover
Using it with a Z6ii and Sigma 150-600 lens combo and it is a perfect fit with lots of room to expand. Easy to put on and remove. A bit expensive but does the job well.
