Orange Crush Bass Amp - Great Value
I read about this bass amp in bass player magazine. It was reviewed very positively. I went online to watch Glenn Hughes talk about the amp and demonstrate it. Based on those two sources, I ordered one, and have been very happy with it. It is a great practice amp and a tremendous value for the money. It has great tones and has versatility. Things get very interesting when you turn up the gain to get a great distorted tone. It is built very well and does not weigh very much. The built-in tuner is a nice extra and makes one wonder why don’t all companies add this? The purple covering on the outside is a nice touch, especially for an Orange amp. I give it a “10”. It’s so cool to connect with such a great bass player by getting one of these inexpensive and well-built amplifiers

Value exceeds price
We purchased this as a gift for my brother. He loved the sound and did quite a bit of research on it. For the price you can’t beat the value!

Sounds great
Aside from looking awesome this bass has great sound. Built very solid as well. Plenty of volume for around the house and I feel that it would hold up for a gig in a smaller club or bar.I don’t have any complaints about this amp.

it goes on forever—and—oh my God—it's full of stars!
i have been playing at the electric guitar since i was 15. that was 37 years ago. plugging into this just now my first thought was "ohhh, this is what it's supposed to sound like!" and then "and that's why they can charge that kinda scratch for it". seriously, it's worth, just smoth and predictable with the gut punch when you need it and the velour bench seat when you just want a little bit to get warm. pretty sure this is a brand i can stick with!

Nice
Looks amazing and sounds great. Very classic Orange tone and quite a bit of EQ sweep to get lots of different sounds. Effects loop was a must for me and this one does it's job just fine. 50 watts is plenty for bedroom play and its definitely capable of buzzing the walls. The 12" speaker is limited to the bedroom IMO. The 100w version likely sounds better and would be better for some very small gigs but for practice and casual recording the 50w is great. The only gripe is the power cable that came with it had a sloppy fit and wouldn't keep the power connected. Switched it out for another one I had and it works fine.
