Effective Cleanser, But Mind the Mess
The Garnier charcoal soap is an effective cleanser, leaving skin noticeably clean and free of excess oil and impurities. However, it does strip the skin, so I’d recommend following up with a good moisturiser, especially if you have dry skin. At £3, even on sale, it feels slightly overpriced, but it’s still a worthwhile purchase for its results. Just be aware that the charcoal can leave black droplets and marks in the shower, so a soap dish is essential to keep things tidy. Despite initial scepticism, I’d consider repurchasing in the future.

Can’t live without this!
This is the only thing I have found that keeps my skin breakout free… couldn’t be without it, highly recommend.

Works well, but stains
The soap works very well, and isn't too "gritty". I would advise caution as to how it is stored though. I kept it in a soap dish made of beautiful carved wood, and unfortunately, the charcoal in the soap stained the soap dish. If used in plastic or ceramic soap dishes, this would not cause a problem. The soap does leave you feeling very clean, and it cleared up some back acne. It would be too harsh for facial use for myself, but could work well for others. Garnier is no longer testing on animals (unlike many of the other big brands that, sadly, still do test on animals). This is a big plus-point for me!

Lovecthis, if u have oily skin
It literally dries u skin out to stop the greasy bits that spots love. I use a good serum afterwards like Lamcome Genevique and thats my simplified skin routine in the shower now.For reference, I'm 40 but still get breakouts occasionally and have found it's from years of using a thousand products u just don't need! I was a victim of cleaver brand marketing not common sense, soend money on a good moisturiser and a bar of soap, listen to your Mum's/Nan's they know!
