First of all when I read the other reviews, I got scared because a lot of people are complaining the product is not good and it came with an American plug . well I purchased it from Amazon Amazon UK. It came with a normal plug. The product is extremely good did not burn my hair which is natural and also it did not burn my daughter’s hair which is also natural. The first picture show her hair halfway through demonstrating you can see her natural hair as well as well as the straightened hair The second picture is her hair completely straighten and it’s absolutely beautiful. I can never ever comb through her hair because it’s really thick but this hair straightener allows me to give her a different type of hairstyle than what I’m used to doing for her. If anyone knows Afro hair its time consuming and I would normally do a hair in little twist and when I finish doing her hair in twist shrinks and it looks like half the length of what it actually is so I was really grateful that I could show the full potential of my daughter’s hair. The fourth picture is what her hair looks like one week after I had straightened it so she took it to school. She put a bonnet on her hair when she went to bed. She did all her after school Sports and everything and it was still fine. I think this product is really really good, but if you’re someone who’s going to the gym or you might sweat on a long walk, your hair will go back to natural curls the next day like mine did the next day after my morning walk , literally but I power walk a lot so I would only suggest using hair straighteners if you’re not going for a long walk activities I’m going to the gym or if you sweat a lot whilst exercising But even though I say that it was amazing it was like like my natural hair was 100% before it was straighten the thickness and when it was finished getting straightened it felt like 25% and it felt nice and light and it felt like I had relaxed my hair But obviously like I said I walk every morning for like an hour power walking so I do sweat a lot, and my hair went back to natural the next day because obviously my sweat was in my hair so if any moisture comes in contact, it’s going to turn your hair back to the normal texture . I would like to say, definitely use a heat protector like we always do on our hair before you use the hair straighteners and allow the heat protection to dry a bit otherwise you’ll see steam because heat plus water equals steam. The fifth picture is of my hair before I straighten it and the 6th picture is when I finish straightening my hair I didn’t use a blow dryer on my hair. I just let it naturally dry and then I added the heat protection and allowed the moist of a dry a bit and then I used the hair straightener tymo comb, whatever you wanna call it I am not a professional, but with this product I felt like I was able to achieve professional quality Hair It took about 15 minutes to do my hair because I could not stop combing it. I was literally loving this product and it took me about 25 minutes to do my daughter’s hair but I do feel it could’ve taken 15 minutes to do her hair as well, but it was my first time using the hair straighteners actually it was my first time using any sort of hair straighteners. I hope this review helps someone else to feel confident enough to buy these straighteners because I do think this is amazing and my daughter felt so happy and special to have a hair in a different hairstyle basically can’t gold her hair in one ever because it’s so hard to comb but Because of these hair straighteners I was able to and she really enjoyed it for one whole week and all her classmates were like wow your hair looks so lovely so it was a win-win situation.

Omg! These are the best thing ever! Ok so I have very very curly hair, and was toying with buying this for weeks as I doubted it would work like they say it does! I can assure you it does work, it’s the easiest way I’ve found yet to straighten my hair. I’m amazed. I even straitened my hair, wet and dried it, just so I could straighten it again just to double check as it was that good. I’m 100% using this from now on.

Really happy with my purchase the best hair straighteners for Afro 4b hair. Leaving your hair smooth and sleek. The reason for 4 stars is that it can burn your sculpture really bad if you do it too close. Which can happen when trying doing it yourself sometimes. My girl has 4b Afro hair and other straighteners where not doing a great job, but these ones so far so good. The product looks to be of high quality and hope it will last long. Easy to clean as well.

I bought this product a bit skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. It arrived exactly as described (with a UK plug), worked as expected, and was very easy to use. ​Before using it, I washed my hair thoroughly to remove any residue and dried it completely with a hairdryer (your hair really needs to be 100% dry). Since I have a shoulder injury and zero coordination, this brush design was a lifesaver. My hair has multiple textures, somewhere between coily and curly, and it worked great.

I've no idea how much tymo are paying all these people to shoot "amazing, first time using the tymo" videos for marketing - but it must be a lot! Firstly, it took an absolute age to warm up - about 3x as long as my straighteners and only went up to 210 degrees. My straighteners go to 230. - I still had to use my brush with the chase method as my hair is very think and knots easily - the tymo didn't glide through otherwise. - It is very hard to keep the hair in the "teeth" - I kept moving the tymo in the wrong direction - maybe that's something that's mastered over time? - The ends of my hair weren't getting straightened as the tymo would come off the ends quickly, due to there being not much hair and it being too hot for my fingers to hold my hair until the end. - I couldn't put it near my head as scalp was burning from the heat. - I didn't use the glove (as I may be sending it back), but in videos I've seen, people wear it on the hand that's holding the tymo and that seems a bit pointless. In my photos, the emoji without the glasses, I've done the right side of my head with my normal straighteners and the left, along with my fringe with the tymo. The tymo side took a lot longer to do, with more passes (and a burnt scalp) and still looks frizzy. The photo with the glasses emoji, I've done my whole head with my straighteners and it's smoother and shinier and took half as long. (You may not see much difference in a photo, but I wouldn't be happy going out, with my whole head done with the tymo) Would not recommend these at all. Waste of money.

Excellent. Makes my hair soft and straight without drying out my curly hair

I was really looking forward to using this product, after seeing all the reviews. The packaging looks great, comes with hair clips, a little brush, a heat protecting mitten and a case for the heated comb. I did what I normally do with straighteners, had it on 190, sectioned hair with small sections and tried to get it through my hair.... This was the first problem. With slim sections it was struggling. Then the comb kept turning itself off which was frustrating and I'd have to reset the temp. I found that it took longer to do my whole head of hair than with normal straighteners. It also didn't look straight, having to go over sections multiple times. The next time I tried with turning the heat to 210 which is what it says for thick hair, this didn't make it any straighter, instead my hair started to friz it also continued to turn itself off. Now this may have been a faulty unit, but I don't want to try it again. I found this took much longer than normal. Didn't straighten as expected. Fair too much heat needed. I have returned. Disappointed

I had wanted to try this product for a long time and was torn between the new Airbeam and ring plus. I gave in and ordered the ring plus and was very disappointed with it after reading all the reviews. I found it heavy and awkward to use. I have coloured, naturally curly and fine hair and wanted it shiny & straight. Using it didn't take all the frizz away, but it did leave my hair soft. It got very hot and did burn my head. My ends didn't benefit as they just slid right out. Unfortunately I decided to return it and have ordered the airbeam. I pray thats better suited to my hair...

Der TYMO RING PLUS Ionic Hair Straightener ist ein wirklich tolles Glätteisen! Man ist super schnell fertig und er eignet sich perfekt für verschiedene Haartypen, auch für Locken oder Afro-Haare. Die Haare werden schön glatt und sehen gepflegt aus. Natürlich benutze ich zusätzlich immer Hitzeschutz. Die Anwendung ist einfach und das Ergebnis überzeugt mich jedes Mal aufs Neue. Il ring plus è arrivato nei tempi previsti intatto ancora con la pellicola trasparente a sigillare la confezione originale e conteneve il ring plus, la spazzolina fucsia, 2 mollette per capelli e il guanto utilissimi! Ho comprato a parte un latte termoprotettore per proteggere i capelli. La ring plus raggiunge i 210 gradi in pochi secondi. Ho lavato i capelli il giorno prima idratati, nutriti bene. Il giorno dopo i capelli erano asciutti e nutri ed ho applicato il termoprotettore e a quel punto ho usato il ringplus a piccole ciocche partendo dalla radice e andando molto lenta in 2 passaggi o poco piu la ciocca si liscia molto bene basta trovare la propria manualità. Sono rimasta stupita del risultato . Ho i capelli crespi ricci che tendono a gonfiarsi per principio lol quindi dopo aver lisciato tutto o applicato un olio per capelli che avevo per aiutare a isolare dall umidità. Fatto cio ho fatto una treccia e ho messo una di quelle cuffiette di finta seta per isolare dall umidità e in questo modo durano un po di piu ordinate specialmente quando si va a dormire , la cuffietta aiuta parecchio..proverò una crema antiumidita da metter dopo il lisciaggio cosi che durino di piu... facendo a piccole cioccche e pettinandole la ring plus scorrerá piu agilmente... I miei capelli anche se crespi non si sono incastrati , basta pettinare prima e passare lentamente.... la temperatura sui capelli di mia mamma piu fini e delicati l ho impostata su 130/160 e sono venuti perfetti meglio dei miei :D ... lo consiglio ...io evitavo di lisciarli perché con le piastre classiche e con il pettine mi scocciavo questa da un risultato soddisfacente...se si hanno capelli ricci morbidi e fini vengono praticamente liscissimi ...se sono crespi con 210 vengono lisci non effetto post keratina dal parrucchiere ma egregio io lo ricomprerei lo consiglio

It’s a scam i bought this as a plus ring but it’s the normal one with the price of plus !! Doesn’t show temperature or anything like written in bio !!
