Can I shoot the Single-Stage Urethane Paint over it in a "wet on wet" application?

Some say yes.. however this gasses out in up to a few weeks after applied depending on temperature. I did a wet on wet one time looked great. A few weeks later some defects I'm thinking under the primer reared its head. Due to shrinkage of the primer. So if your not in any hurry let it gas out and block sand. paint is too pricey anymore.
