Whisper quiet. Love them!
I bought 2 of these; one in white and one in Rosewood. I had someone install them for me so I can't comment on the ease of installation, but it took him about 30 minutes to do each one. They are whisper quiet; other than the sound of the air moving, you can't hear a thing. I was surprised that some people said they are noisy; Hunter fans are always high quality, and these lived up to their name. They move a good amount of air too; they are perfect for our 2 extra bedrooms. No wobbles either. I can't believe I got this high quality of a fan at such a great price. Thanks Amazon! Very pleased!!!

Fan is easy to install, works as expected.
The fan and lighter were easy to install. It took about 35 minutes with no help. Just make sure the box you are attaching it to is rated to support a fan.One reviewer said it was "very bright". That is relative to what the person is used to. It takes two 60 watt candelabra bulbs. The two bulbs included are frosted so the light output is a wee bit dimmer than the two clear bulbs we installed. FYI, standard 60 watt candelabra bulbs range from 590 to 650 lumens. Assess whether that is enough for your space. We had a 3 bulb fixture previously, so the two is not enough. We are installing two Bulbrite KX60FR/E12 60W Krypton/Xenon bulbs with 960 lumens each.

quiet fan, super low price, only one thing missing...
this replaced a hampton bay brand whose light wiring has gone fritzy. this install was very easy. except for one hardware bag missing. it was the last one, of course, for the upper and lower switch housings. did i go through the box to ensure all the parts were there prior to install? no. lucky for me i bought two of these. the other box had all the proper hardware. looking at the warranty info on this site, the pdf has information for coleman products. i will try this info but i didn't think the two companies were related. the price of the fan was/is unbeatable and it is super quiet. installed with a lutron diva fan speed/light switch. fyi, the switch name had nothing to do with the purchase...i will update the review after i get my missing parts.update: the return request apparently didn't go through and i was able to speak with someone after the warranty period. amazon was very helpful, though, and i was able to replace the entire unit. this one had all the hardware and install was a snap. thank you amazon for your help with replacing the fan!

They were relatively easy to install (15-20 minutes once I got the wiring ...
Purchased three - one for a 7x8 room, one for a 10x10 room, and one for the stairway landing. They were relatively easy to install (15-20 minutes once I got the wiring from the ceiling prepped, a bit longer if you install a wireless switch), move air exceptionally well (we seldom turn them up above "low") and are very quiet. The mounting bracket covers a multitude of sins so if you have a kind of wonky hole this should cover it, as long as you can see the screw holes on the junction box. If you have plaster or a recessed junction box I recommend getting a pair of longer #8 machine screws to mount it to the junction box as the ones that come with it are pretty short. Also, the hole for the wiring is in the center of the junction box, so if you have a thread lamp pole in the middle of the junction box you should remove the pole before installing. We installed some wireless Lutron light switches on two of them and they work with no problem. I recommend a fan switch with a variable speed as you will seldom need the fan on high.

Hunter, a little disappointing.
We have put in many ceiling fans over the years. Our past experience with Hunter was the reason we purchased some this year. Previous to this order, we had installed a “creekside” in the master bedroom and I love it! But I wanted 2 smaller ceiling fans with lights for 2 smaller bedrooms. So we went with these Conroys. They were both easy enough to install. After the first one was in, I heard a somewhat grinding noise. It wasn’t very intrusive but you knew the fan was running. So up with the second one and it does exactly the same thing. We were careful to follow step by step, tightening everything along the way. The second one does the same thing. While they were an improvement over the old fans, I was disappointed because they aren’t as good as the Creekside.

Hunter Quality Control isn't what it use to be.
I purchased this fan over other less expensive alternatives hoping for a quiet fan and Hunter quality. I feel like I did not get either. My issues with this fan are:1) Quality seems lacking for the price2) Fan was so far out of balance it took me about an hour to get it close.3) The motor hum’s slightly worse than the $30 fan I replaced with this fan.First the installation of the fan was a little difficult as is the install of any “hugger fan” but not too terrible. However, balancing this fan was very problematic. I spent close to an hour checking and checking again only to find out this was so far out of balance that I had to use three weights to get in in balance ALL ON THE SAME BLADE. I played with multiple alternate locations but ended up with 3 weights all out towards the end of the a single blade. I have installed probably about 10 ceiling fans in my life and have never had one this bad new out of the box.Once the fan was balanced, I am very unhappy with the amount of noise (humming) the motor makes. I tried the fan at all three speeds and the humming noise on all of them is slightly LOUDER than the $30 fan I replaced with this fan that was of similar diameter and CFM. If it would not be so difficult to uninstall and mail back I would return this fan.

Quiet efficiency
I bought two of these ceiling fans. Both are quiet. Both move the air around. So much so, that I have sometimes turned them off because of the chill on me. I just wish they would come with a remote control. You can buy a remote control but unfortunately something has to be added during the time of installation. I had to pay an electrician to put them in due to my landlord's requirement. Then when I decided to buy a remote and realized there would be another installation, I bulked. So I miss the remote control. One fan is in the 'middle' of my bed and it is hard to reach the light switch. The other thing I'm not liking is a feature I liked when I bought it. The light and fan chains go through the globe giving some stabilization to it all. But then it dawned on me: how do I clean the globe when the inevitable fly dies in it???? Hell, I don't even know how I'm expected to replace the light bulb. Oh yes, and I don't understand it: but while I bought the same model by Hunter's Fans, the lightbulbs are different. One takes a regular shaped lightbulb and one takes a chandelier light bulb. But both light up the room very well for my purposes.

Balanced out of the box
5th Hunter fan. All are quiet and smooth operation - that's why I stick with them. Daughter's room. Often run on high and no wobble or sound (other than airflow). Only fan that didn't need balancing - bit of a surprise, but easy to do if it needed it with included balancing kit. Bright lights. Low Profile. White. Only comment is the plastic washer / protector for the Light lens - it's different from all my others and hard to get on and feels a bit cheap. You don't see it when assembled, but it will make taking the lens on/off for cleaning more difficult than the others. Otherwise, no complaints.

Great Fan Great Price... UPDATE 2021... CAnt beat Hunter!
This fan is great. Not the most attractive ..but nice. However it runs flawless. I installed it with a remote kit and it works perfect. I did it myself and while its a bit awkward to do... Anyone with basic electrical and mechanical skills will find it pretty easy . Only thing... This fan is SILENT!! If you are used to a bit of "white noise" from a fan to help you sleep. ( Bedroom fan)..You wont get it from this.;).. All you hear is the wind movement and that is only on the 2nd and 3rd speed.Pretty amazing a fan can be so quiet!! :)AS an update..Aug 2021. THe fan developed a ticking noise. I dismantelled clean, lubed, tightened everything I could. Still. a tick tick tick....It was very annoying. I wrote Hunter as they have a limited lifetime Warranty. I sent them a video of the issue. They asked for a proof of purchase and the model number off the sticker on the fan. I sent them that.Along with my shipping address. A week later... A NEW fan arrived on my steps!!! Cannot beat that for service!!!

Great quality and very quiet !
This a really nice and quiet fan. Pretty easy to install as well. My one and only gripe is where the switch is to change the direction of the fan, meaning whether it’s pushing or pulling air. It’s kind of hard to reach because it’s above the light globe but below the fan blades and you can’t see it when stand under the fan. Besides that one little thing the fan is good quality and very smooth and quiet. I’d recommend this fan !
