Very comfortable and lightweight, feels good on the skin. Used for the first time last weekend and had no issue with overheating in +90F temps for 3 hours in direct sunlight during the Waterton Canyon part of Colorado Trail segment 1. Plenty of room in the hood and there are thumb holes to keep the sleeves extended down to cover top side of your hands. Bought a medium and it is a slightly large fitting-medium. Great sun hoodie for the price if you are looking for something budget friendly for hiking in hot weather while in direct sunlight.

I live in the high desert where sunburn is a real concern and it can get really hot. This is light weight and breathes well which is perfect for my region. I use it primarily for hiking and prospecting. The thumb holes in the sleeve cuffs are a nice addition.

I like this shirt, mostly, but it's the biggest XL I've ever bought, and for surfing, swimming etc. there's just too much fabric.Order a size lower if you want to use it like a rashguard.

I bought this for someone who is sensitive to textures. He loves the feel of this that he can wear it in the warm weather! He wears a large in mens shirts due to shoulders, not weight, and a medium was a perfect fit.

I go fishing a lot and by the end of the summer, the area between my thumb knuckle and wrist is very raw from sunburn. Can't use sunscreen on my hands because they are frequently being put in the water for fish retrieval. For awhile I wore garden gloves with the finger tips cut off and that was ok but they were very hot.Stumbled upon these on Amazon and wow - sun protection for the torso, the head, AND sleeves with thumb holes! Perfect for my needs. I found the hood to be a bit large but I just put a baseball camp over it and it worked like a charm.I thought the material would make me very hot but it didn't. My review is based on me sitting in a fishing kayak. I can't say if it's a hot material for jogging or hiking. The material is very lightweight. It's thin but very protective at the same time. We were out all day every day for a week and the only mild sunburn I got was on my nose and cheeks.Finding this shirt was a life saver for me.

Comfortable sun protection even over back of hands. Hoodie sized just fine to accommodate most close cut hair styles. Sleeves stretchy enough to push up forearm when necessary. Only time will tell if it is a durable product but initial experience is very good.

Purchased for direct sun construction work. I am really impressed at the quality and comfort for the money. At 1/2 the price of competitors it's a no-brainer. These shirts are cool, wash great and protect you from the sun.

5'11", 160lbs. I took size large. It fits good on me. I don't like when it's too tight on my arms.The material is very comfortable on my skin. And it looks nice. I put a cap over the hoodie, and it protects my neck and chicks from sun burn (I already had to two skin cancers removed on my face). Very useful when I take long walks.I will buy other colours in the future.

Very happy with this. I don't like the feel of sunscreen on my body and this is a decent substitute.It also seems to double as a cooling shirt.

My skin is not fond of the sun and so I bought this for my outdoor adventures. It's cool and soft and provides great protection.
