This attractively aged mirror would be at home in an old chateau, or anywhere with shabby Old World furnishings. Its approximately 14-by-18-inch ornate frame is painted in old white under heavily crackled antique gray, with ornate gold embellishments. I've also finished the frame with light and dark waxes to enhance the vintage feel. The mirror glass is new, but I've aged it to appear about 200 years old, still clear but with the dark mottling typical of age. This mirror makes a striking Old World statement beautifying any room or hallway.
