Not be the brightest but puts usable light out about 50 yards. It is small and I clip it to a belt loop so it is very handy but never in the way. No problems after short periods of use during a power outage and trips to the mailbox at night.

Way too bright for use by children. Nana thinks it's great when a flashlight is needed, however.

Bought one, received it, and loved it so much I bought another! You can't beat this one for the price!

The switch to turn it on and off broke within a week of use, no longer turns on. Disappointing from an other wise solidly built flashlight.Update: contacted by seller and a replacement is in the mail. Recieved new flashlight in the mail, excellent customer service.

I love flashlights. It's always nice to have one that works well when you need it. I ordered this because I have a very similar flashlight to this one that I really like and wanted to have one I could give to my wife or kids. I had not noticed when I placed the order that it said it was a UV LED. When I later saw that when I was notified it was shipped I was a little bit excited about having this special use flashlight. It arrived today. Shipped and delivered quick, which I like. I pulled out the flashlight inserted a regular AA battery (that's another thing I like about this flashlight in that batteries are easy to find and carry extras), and turned it on. A bright white light shown out of the flashlight. I clicked the tailcap and cycled through the different modes, HIGH, LOW, STROBE (by the way, a nice feature is that you can cycle through the different modes by only doing a half-press of the switch - don't have to turn it all the way off). Each click a typical white light. I zoomed in and out the focus of the light and no change in the color. The zoom is a handy feature. I checked it against my other light that is very similar and had the same color light. It wasn't UV. But on the plus side, I originally didn't order it because it was UV. I wanted another good flashlight and that is what I got. I don't know if I got the wrong flashlight or if it's mislabeled. Really doesn't matter to me as I'm happy with it. Will contact the seller to see if I got a mistake and will update if needed. I was able to purchase this light at a discount for my honest opinion.Update: I sent a note to the seller asking if I received the wrong product or if the description was confusing. They responded very quickly and said the description was confusing and would change it. I thanked them and told them I liked the flashlight and was keeping it

I got this product at a very huge discount for a review, but in no way, shape or form does that influence my opinion. So i have had this flashlight for about 3 days now and i have to say it is a great product. I came with the flashlight only (no batteries) in a nice black box. I was very well protected with bubble wrap. I was surprised to see the size of it when I unboxed it. ( I will be loading an unboxing video soon). The flashlight fit in the palm of my hand and it really didn't seem too powerful, but when I found a single AA battery and powered it on, it was bright as heck! It might be a bit under 1000 lumen when zoomed out but when zoomed in I am sure it concentrated to more than 1000 lumen. I tried it with a regular AA battery from the 99cent store and a re-chargeable AA from Energizer and the flashlight works very well with either battery. It has 3 settings, normal flashlight (high) and (low) and also pulse or strobe for disorientation or emergency situations. They are easy to activate by a simple "half" click of the power button for example: One full click activated high mode, two half clicks activates low mode, and three half clicks activates strobe mode. I honestly feel like the size in very convenient due to it being easy to carry on your belt on in your pocket or even clipped on to a bag by using the built in belt clip. This flashlight might be small but it really packed a good punch.

This is NOT an ULTRAVIOLET light. Now that we got that cleared, this mini torch is definitely bright! The case is made of anodized aluminum. It comes with a handy clip which you can unscrew if you prefer. The beam is adjustable from flood to a focused beam. This mini torch can be powered by a double AA battery as well as the more powerful 18650 Li batteries. I got this at a discounted price in exchange for my review, I would've given it 1 Star because I didn't get what was advertised but for the price I paid, I would say that it is still a good deal.

My friend showed me his light the other day and I was shocked to how bright it was compared to my energizer. Especially for the price, this light is unbelievable. I did receive this product at a discount on exchange for a review and I most say, I will buy this flashlight again at full price. It's that good. Solid metal construction and a single AA battery. I absolutely love it
